The Latest Attraction at the Fleet A Virtual Reality Walk In Space Experience the thrill of traveling in space without ever leaving the Science Center. The Pulseworks® VR Transporter™ is an eye-popping, virtual reality adventure simulator that can take you to the Moon, out for a spacewalk or zipping through the cosmos. While typical VR technology simulates the visuals of the real world, the motion technology and surround-sound audio of the Transporter will make it feel like you really are in another world. Take a ride today! TURTLE ODYSSEY Turtle Odyssey tells the heartwarming story of one tiny sea turtle’s big adventure. Based in Australia, and narrated by Russell Crowe, Turtle Odyssey explores the unique lifecycle of an Australian green sea turtle named Bunji and her incredible journey across the open ocean. NOW OPEN!SUN, EARTH, UNIVERSESun, Earth, Universe is a new exhibition about our planet, the solar system, the universe and the big questions scientists at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are trying to answer about each. Packed with engaging, hands-on interactive exhibits and dazzling imagery, this 500-square-foot exhibition will connect you with current NASA science research and launch you on a journey to explore the universe! NEW ATTRACTION. NOW OPEN!THE PULSEWORKS® VR TRANSPORTER™Experience the thrill of traveling in space without ever leaving the Science Center. The VR Transporter™ is an eye-popping, virtual reality adventure simulator that can take you to the Moon, out for a spacewalk, swimming with prehistoric beasts or zipping through the cosmos. While typical VR technology simulates the visuals of the real world, the VR Transporter™ pitches and rolls with your movements, giving you the first-person perspective of an astronaut floating around the International Space Station or a diver exploring the ocean depths.

DREAM! DESIGN! BUILD! Explore the Fleet’s collection of engineering activities in Dream! Design! Build! This exhibition features the classic favorite Block Busters, the versatile Fit-a-Brick Build Zone and the newest addition to the engineering interactives collection, ProtoPipe. These hands-on building activities invite people of all ages to dream like a visionary, design like an architect and build like an engineer.

IT’S ELECTRICIt’s Electric brings the science and the history of electricity to life through interactive exhibits. Fundamental principles such as magnetic fields, electric charges and battery technology are explored through interactive stations that offer hands-on learning for the whole family. Bilingual.

KID CITYKids ages five and under get to explore our working world in a safe learning environment. The colorful, hands-on cityscape includes a Grocery Store, Fire Station, Factory and Little Learners Lab, plus an Infants-Only Area. Bilingual.

NANOExplore a small world where big science happens in this exhibition all about nanoscale science, technology and engineering. Bilingual. This exhibit was created by the Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network (NISE).

PAUSE|PLAYExperience the power of play and discover the science behind favorite playground pastimes. Recapture the nostalgia of yesteryear in a modern indoor space with just one rule: No Adulting Allowed! Bilingual. This exhibition is generously funded in part by the Kenneth T. and Eileen L. POWER PLAY SAN DIEGOPower Play San Diego challenges visitors to keep the power grid in balance while maximizing the use of renewable energy sources. Power Play San Diego was made possible through generous funding from SDG&E.
