Film Distribution is about releasing and prolonging the world of production films in the market place and get as many people to see the film.

It is commonly known as “the invisible art”, although it is the third stage of this film process , it’s the most important part as it involves the transformation of bringing films from the camera to the silver screen and being able to connect with the audience.

It's also a way in which the producer finds the best solution in order to sell and promote their film in the most effective way.

to the sales agent/distributor who markets the film at the appropriate audience and develops an advertising campaign.

Then they need to create an interest in the film by making a selling point ,these companies are the main key to producers as a distributor will spend a certain amount of money on marketing that film under their territory.

Major Film Distributors:

Film Distributors are major companies that market new blockbuster films and they sometimes set the release date, either straight to the public for them to see or home viewing where they are made into DVDs or able to download online.
