Film Afternoons St Andrew’s, Cobham are having a season of Film Shows including musicals. They are held on the first Thursday of each month at Church Gate House at 2pm. They will be followed by tea and biscuits. There is plenty of parking. No need to book – just turn up. February 6 th – Seven Brides for Seven Brothers March 5 th – West Side Story. Saving a life! A few years ago, our Christmas collection went towards buying a defibrillator for the village. The device was recently put to good use when a resident took a turn for the worse. The defibrillator saved the person’s life, and he and his wife are most grateful. Planned Giving update …
A big thank you to all those who have
responded positively to the recent
relaunch of the St. Mary’s Planned Giving Scheme.
In response to parishioner feedback about the
scheme, ’Count Me In’ tokens are being introduced
whereby participating members may take a token
from the basket provided at the Church entrance
and place it in the Offertory bags which are passed
around during the service. It is hoped that this
system enhancement will give reassurance to
parishioners that their contributions are included in
