    composition, spelling and writing

    Reading research dominated the learning process

    1970s- researchers noticed the link between reading

    & writing.

    Comprehending & composing were viewed asprocess involved in text production.

    Classroom activity should include writing to scaffold &

    support the teaching of comprehension strategies. Eg: a think-link chart

    SUMMARY

    In conclusion, reading improves ones language

    proficiency as well as developing good

    thinking skills.

    Thus, nomatter what u read, u have to reflect

    on it to improve on ones skills.
