Bring your favorite picnic/movie food (KFC, Cane's Chicken, Subway, Amado's, popcorn, candy, drinks, etc.) and join the Parish Council for the viewing of For Greater Glory
staring Andy Garcia and Eva Longoria. Hanley Hall will be converted into our very own picnic destination.
"Picnic tables" will be set up with enough space to account for social distancing.
Note: This is a “Bring your own food” event.
About the Movie (2 hrs., 25 mins., rated R for war violence) In late 1920’s in Mexico, retired Gen. Gorostieta (Andy Garcia) and his wife (Eva Longoria)
watch their country degenerate into violent civil war when the government enacts a series of anti-clerical laws. Gorostieta is at first hesitant to join the rebels, known as Cristeros, until he begins to
see the cost of religious persecution on his countrymen. Though the odds are against him, the General nevertheless transforms a ragtag band of rebels into a formidable fighting force.

This ministry provides comfort to parishioners who have lost a loved one. The opportunity to share, read, and reflect, in a small group setting, helps those in attendance find encouragement for changes in their lives while working through their grief journey. This parishioner support group comes together to help each other navi-gate through the grief journey. Ministry Coordi-nators have attended the Bereavement Care Training offered by the Diocese of Phoenix. To learn more about this ministry, contact the par-ish office, (480) 838-7474. Just a reminder… No professional counseling is offered.
