Breakout Kits

Breakout kits are essential components for fusion splicing or terminating 250um fibers in the field and factory. Opticonx SPK series kits ready any loose tube, central tube or ribbon fiber cable for direct termination. Opticonx UBK series kits ready any central tube or ribbon cable for pigtail fusion splicing using single fiber or ribbon pigtails or for direct termination when used in combination with SPK series kits.

Opticonx Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies are used to interconnect network switches, storage devices and fiber optic networks within a structured cabling system. Assemblies feature advanced polishing and termination techniques and are 100% tested to industry leading insertion and return loss specifications. They are available with all fiber types including plastic fiber and hard clad silica and with all industry standard connector types and sizes.

Splice Cassette Modules

Splice modules present the installer with a convenient, compact and secure alternative to pigtail splicing. Cable management and protection of individual fibers and connectors are housed inside the sealed module eliminating the need to dress patch panels, as required with pigtails, providing better protection, cable management, and saving significant installation time. P3Link Xtreme splice modules standard features include shuttered adapters and bend insensitive fibers. They are available with individual 250 micron fiber, 900 micron fiber, or 12 fiber ribbon pigtails. They can be mounted in LGX style panels with P3Link Xtreme Adapter Plates and can be housed in any of Opticonx’ rack mount or wall mount patch panels.

Opticonx manufactures a complete line of furcation/breakout tubing for use in manufacturing cable assemblies, harnesses, and trunk cables. We produce many different styles for breaking out a wide variety of fibers from 250 and 900 um fibers to ribbon and micro-distribution bundles and cables. Cables can then be terminated with LC, SC, ST, or MTP/MPO Connects. All furcation tubing is available in 12 standard, stocked colors, or manufactured to your specification.

Patch Panels

Opticonx patch panels offer high density and occupy minimal rack and/or wall space. Panels accept Opticonx MAP series adapter plates in low, medium and high density configurations. Every fiber adapter option is supported. They are fully customizable and feature patch and cabling compartments, removable front and rear doors for easy cable access and integrated front and rear cable management. FBC series rack mount panels are available in 1U, 2U, and 4U rack heights that can accommodate 6 to 288 fibers. FBC panels also accept P3Link Xtreme modules.

Opticonx Ready To Splice patch and splice panels come pre loaded with the required amount of pigtails, splice trays and adapter panels to fusion splice to incoming outside plant, indoor/outdoor, or premise style cables. They are ideally suited for building entrances in LAN Campus, Telco, and CATV cabling plant applications. They are offered in wall and rack mount versions and can be configured to house splice cassettes, ribbon fiber pigtails, or configured as a pre-stubbed panels with trunks for OSP/ISP transition splicing.

P3Link Xtreme is a pre-terminated fiber optic cabling system. Our small form factor cassette modules, MTP® trunks, patch panels, harnesses and patchcords, provide extreme density (up to 144 fibers in 1RU) and optical performance in the data center/storage area network, and campus backbone environments. P3Link Xtreme delivers guaranteed performance for Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet, and Fibre Channel.
