13. Attendance report would be available on internet on daily basis and concerned offrcial shall gettheir attendance regularizedin the following manner.

Monthly CL/RH statement in respect of officers/staff working under a unit/office shall besent latest by 5tn of following month to Administration Branch.It must be ensured by the official concerned that duly recommended leave application ofnature such as Eamed leave/HPl/Commuted leave etc. should be sent to AdministrationBranch and shall ensure that all such leave for a month are duly sanctioned by 05th of thefollowing month with copy of sanction order endorsed to Administration Branch.In case of commuted leave on medical grounds or earned leave overlapping two consecutivemonths, period of absence shall be kept under suspense and marked 'S'and shall be regu-lwized immediately after joining of official as elaborated at para 13(ii) above. During thisperiod, pay and allowances of the official would be released. However, in case leave is notregularized after her/tris joining of office, pay and allowances of such official would not beprocessed till such regularization. Responsibility for the same would lie on concerned offr-cial/controlling officer/concerned establishment section as the case may be.

For officials going on official tour, they shall send a monthly statement in this regard toAdministration Branch along with monthly CL/RH statement for making necessary entriesin the system by 5th of following month through email at admn-andheri.mh@esic.{ric.in asthe case maybe.

In case, any offrcials to visit field offrces/Regional Office/Sub Regional Office/ for officialpurposes and situation is such that such official would not be able to mark attendance in thesystem either in the morning or evening, prior intimation regarding it would be sent to Ad-ministration branch through email at [email protected] as the case may be.Further, a consolidated monthly statement in this regard would be sent by 5tn of followingmonth for maki in the in the folI entry m S ln lowing fbrmat

vii. ESIC would register all employees of ESIC, deputed staffon Bio-Metric system. Any offi-cial who is left out for some reason should contact Administration branch for registering inthe system as the pay of officials is linked to it. Similarly, offrcials joining after transfershould get themselves registered for biometric system immediately. Concerned Branch willclearly advice the new officials to get themselves registered in BAS wherever their joiningreports are accepted.

14. List of ofiicials whose pay and allowances are to be processed and whose can't be processed keep-ing in view of their attendance/regularization of leave would be available on internet by l5th ofevery month for needful action in this regard by concemed DDOs bill preparing authorities.

15. If officials are called for duty on holidays or required for officials'exigencies beyond office hoursoutside with Medical Superintendent/Controlling Officer, they will submit a confirmation in thisregard to claim Compensatory Offas per rule on this account.

16. Concerned DDO would prepare pay bill strictly in accordance with these rules.17. Disciplinary action shall be taken against any offrcial if found tempering with Biometric Attend-

ance system.
