What is Fabulous

First Friday?

This Summer in Washington, DC is going to be HAUTE…and we’re not talking about the weather.

Fabulous First Friday, a haute girls night out happy hour event that will be held the first Friday of each month from June-September featuring fabulous fashion & beauty presentations and tips from celebrity style experts, cocktails, tasty treats, product sampling and more.

Fabulous First Friday is not your average happy hour or shopping event, it’s a fun and fabulous experience where women can learn from experts who have worked with some of the most fabulous celebrities in the world, mix and mingle with friends and interact with brands positioned to become staples in their lives.

Fabulous First Friday is the perfect opportunity to increase brand awareness, gain new consumers and alert them of new products.

In addition, a portion of the proceeds will benefit our charitable partner JDRF to fund research for a cure of type 1 diabetes, giving women an opportunity to experience a “haute” girls’ night out while also supporting a great cause…now how fabulous is that?

Target Audience

Each Fabulous First Friday event will host 200-300 women residing in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Here are some behavioral and economic attributes of these women:

Primarily between the ages 21-40 Apart of the buzzing DC social scene and stays tuned to the latest in fashion,

beauty and lifestyle trends Have median earnings above $50,000-In the U.S., only the District of Columbia had

Promotional Plan

Fabulous First Friday will be promoted utilizing some of the following vehicles in which your brand can benefit:

Radio ads and on-air mentions from a popular female radio personality who will also host the event each month

Ads and dedicated email blasts with Gilt City, Guest of a Guest, Refinery 29, Daily Candy, Washingtonian, Washington Post-DC Scout, Capitol File, Washington Life, and other popular online and print media outlets

Flier distribution and placement at partnering restaurants, nightclubs, boutiques, etc.

Social media campaign utilizing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and other social media platforms

Venue Fabulous First Friday will be hosted at several fabulous venues in Washington, DC including the Longview Gallery, a 5,000 square feet art gallery in the heart of Washington, DC. The gallery is a modern space with flexible walls and impeccable lighting and has been the host to many events including a fashion show presented by high-end designer Jason Wu, galas, automobile and retail launch parties, and other fabulous happenings.
