The magnificent manor house of Ashdown Park Hotel, nestling in its186 acre estate in the heart of the Ashdown Forest, provides theperfect welcoming setting for traditional and cosy Christmas and
New Year celebrations.
Throughout December, the Anderida Restaurant will be serving festivefayre – an ideal opportunity to join friends, family or colleagues to celebratethe festive season. We also welcome non-residents to join us for sumptuouslunches on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and for New Year’s Day Brunch.
Our 3 or 4 day Christmas House Party from 23rd or 24th Decemberis a complete festive experience from the moment you arrive, with
traditional hospitality and service matched by a real sense of occasion.
The periods either side of Christmas and the New Year are often anideal time for an extended stay, either in the lead up to Christmas,
allowing you a chance to breathe before the festivities begin, that pieceof calm between Christmas and New Year or indeed for a well
deserved break after the New Year Celebrations! For the New Year,we have two different and very special ways to celebrate, with one
and two night luxury programmes.
Christmas is such a very special time for children and we make surewe cater for everything they expect including a welcome games pack,a visit from Father Christmas, High Teas with their very own menus,
a dedicated Games Room and so much more.

Explore Royal Tunbridge Wells with its small boutiques and jewellery shops for thoselast minute presents.
For the young, or just young at heart, we are able to arrange tickets for the matinéeperformance of this year’s pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at the Hawth Theatre,Crawley (supplement applies).
Afternoon Tea will be served in the cosy Drawing Rooms next to the roaring log firesand Children’s High Tea will also be available.
Our Christmas Eve entertainment begins with a Champagne and Canapés Receptionin the Drawing Rooms to the backdrop of Christmas carols performed on theimpressive lobby staircase by the local choir of the RNLI.

Start Christmas Day as you wish, either with breakfast in your room or served in theAnderida Restaurant.
For early risers, enjoy a relaxing swim in the Country Club or a stroll through theestate.
Coffee, mince pies and mulled wine will be served in the Drawing Rooms throughoutthe morning and to the delight of the children (and adults too!) Father Christmas willbe making a visit with presents for all.
A special Christmas Buffet lunch will be served in the Harry Clarke Suite to thesounds of our festive Jazz trio.
After lunch, guests are invited to stroll in the gardens or take part in our SparklingWine and Champagne Quiz.

This is traditionally a day for relaxation. Our Country Club offers a wide range offacilities for a rejuvenating morning or you can just kick back and relax by the pool.The Spa has a treatment list to tempt all (booking early is recommended to avoiddisappointment – supplement charges apply).
Traditional country pursuits will be available from mid morning on the main lawn toinclude archery, clay shooting for all ages and falconry. Alternatively, join in with a funtreasure hunt in the hotel or grounds, depending on weather.
Enjoy a warming punch before a traditionally inspired buffet lunch in the RichardTowneley Suite accompanied by our resident organist.
During the afternoon, test your knowledge at our traditional General KnowledgeQuiz – all ages are welcome – or enjoy a fun treasure hunt in the hotel or grounds,depending on the weather of course!
Alternatively, our reservations team are able to arrange tickets to the nearby BluebellRailway where you will be whisked back to days gone by and see the setting for‘The Railway Children’ by Edith Nesbit (supplements apply).
Return to the welcoming fires of our Drawing Rooms where tea and crumpets willbe served.
Start the black tie Gala evening by joining us for Champagne and canapés in the DrawingRooms before moving through to the Anderida Restaurant for a sumptuous dinner.
