The world as we’ve known will not be the same anymore. There will be pain, blood and

death… I can tell you that from my 60 years of US Military Air Force career and my current

position of United States Secretary of State. I am General Thaddeus E. ’’Thunderbolt’’ Ross and

I am here to help you for putting this worldwide crisis to an end. But firstly, I have to report a

brief information about the beginning of this chaos:

The Stamford Case:

During a televised raid of a house containing select villains( Nitro, Cobalt Man, Speedfreak, Land Coldheart) that had recently escaped from the super villain facility at Ryker's Island Prison during a massive breakout, the escaped villain Nitro let off a massive explosion that killed the majority of the New Warriors(which is an unprofessional, second generation super hero team), as well as the children at a nearby elementary school. In the wake of the tragedy, the U.S. Government proposed the Superhuman Registration Act, intending to register all super-powered beings as living weapons of mass destruction and requiring all costumed heroes to unmask themselves before the government and subject themselves to federally mandated standards.

This event triggered negative public opinion against the super-heroes, resulting in the assault of Human Torch (Johnny Storm) by a mob and the request by S.H.I.E.L.D. for Captain America to become part of the enforcement of super heroes to register. When Cap refused, S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Maria Hill ordered S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Anti-Superhuman Response Unit to tranquilize him, but Rogers escaped and went underground.

This event led a division between super heroes. Pro-Registration Side (Team led by Iron Man ) and Anti-Registration Side (Team led by Captain America) is two major sides in this conflict.

You have to be prepared for every potential threats and ambushes. And for make an encounter, you have to know your enemy well.

Name: Captain America

Identity: Unknown

Abilities: Mastered the martial arts of American-style boxing and judo,

engaged in a daily regimen of rigorous exercise (including aerobics,

weight lifting, gymnastics, and simulated combat) to keep himself in

peak condition, was one of the finest human combatants Earth had

ever known.

Weapons: Captain America's only weapon was his shield, a concave disk 2.5 feet in diameter, weighing 12

pounds. It is made of a unique Vibranium-metal alloy that has never been duplicated. The shield was cast

by American metallurgist Dr. Myron MacLain, who was contracted by the U.S. government to create an

impenetrable substance to use for tanks during World War II. MacLain was never able to duplicate the

process due to his inability to identify a still unknown factor that played a role in it. The shield was awarded

to Captain America by the government several months after the beginning of his career. The shield has

great aerodynamic properties: it is able to slice through the air with minimal wind resistance and deflection

of path. Its great overall resilience, combined with its natural concentric stiffness, enables it to rebound

from objects with minimal loss of angular momentum. It is virtually indestructible: it is resistant to

penetration, temperature extremes, and the entire electromagnetic spectrum of radiation. The only way it

can be damaged in any way is by tampering with its molecular bonding.

Biography: In World War II patriotic solider Steve Rogers recipient of the "Super Soldier Serum" became the living symbol of freedom, Captain America. Left for dead while frozen in ice, the star-spangled hero with an indestructible shield awoke years later to continue his never-ending battle for liberty.

Abilities: He is an Olympic-class athlete and expectional acrobat highly skilled in both unarmed and armed hand-to-hand combat and extremely accurate marksman. he is fluent in four languages including German and Russian.

Weapons: Captain America's Shield, a modified hand-gun capable of penetrating even fabric of the thickness and composition of A.I.M. uniforms, a combat knife, and various other mission-special equipment. sniper rifles and various other automatic weapons, various World War II era firearms…

Biography: As a young boy, James Buchanan Barnes lost his father (a soldier during WWII), and was adopted by Camp Lehigh as their mascot, and given the nickname "Bucky". It was here that he learned the identity of Captain America. He underwent rigorous training and was assigned to be Cap's sidekick, accompanying him on many adventures, and the two often worked with the original Invaders. However, on a final mission against Baron Zemo, Bucky and Cap hopped on an experimental drone plane in an attempt to disarm a bomb. The bomb detonated, dropping Cap in the North Atlantic, where he would later be found and thawed out by the Avengers. American forces never found Bucky's body, and he was presumed dead. Unbeknownst to the Americans, he was found and revived by Russian General Vasily Karpov. When Bucky awoke, he had no memory of his identity, which gave Karpov an opportunity to reprogram Bucky as a Soviet assassin called the Winter Soldier. He was sent all across the globe, committing political assassinations with huge effects on the Cold War. However, his memory implantation caused mental instability, and he was kept in stasis between missions to prevent rebellion.

Name: Falcon

Identity: Unknown

Abilities: Excellent trainer of birds, and has been highly

trained in gymnastics and hand-to-hand combat by Captain

America. Originally possessed the ability to telepathically

communicate with his pet falcon Redwing, but that ability has grown into the ability to telepathically

communicate with any birds within an unknown radius. Through this telepathic link he is also able to

receive mental images of what the birds see.

Weapons: Occasionally wears a glove on his left hand that contains a grappling hook.

Biography: A social worker turned hero, Sam Wilson's bleak outlook on life was wiped away the day he

met Captain America. Using a winged costume and his remarkable combat prowess and avian telepathy, he

became the Falcon - defender of Harlem.

Name: Scarlet Witch

Identity: Wanda Maximoff

Abilities: The Scarlet Witch can tap into mystic energy for reality-altering effects; this power was formerly limited to the creation of "hex-spheres" of reality-disrupting quasi-psionic force to cause molecular disturbances in a target's probability field, resulting in spontaneous combustion, deflection of objects in flight, and so on. She later became able to alter reality on a far greater scale, creating entire armies of enemies from nowhere. Although the Scarlet Witch has been trained in basic sorcery techniques, she lacks the specialized mystic training required to fully control her power.

Biography: The probability-manipulating and reality-warping mutant known as the Scarlet Witch is also mother to Wiccan and Speed, sister to Quicksilver and the power behind the mutant catastrophe, M-Day. Born at the Wundagore base of the High Evolutionary, in proximity to the eldritch energies of the Elder God Chthon; Wanda and her brother Pietro's mother, Magda, fled Wundagore shortly after their birth. Although not known at the time, Chthon formed a mystic bond with Wanda, who, it was later learned, was destined to serve the role of Nexus Being, a living focal point for the Earth dimension's mystical energy. Kept in stasis by the Evolutionary for decades, the two infants were later placed in the custody of a Gypsy couple named Django and Marya Maximoff. When Wanda and Pietro were teenagers and had already manifested their mutant powers, their family's encampment was attacked, leaving Marya dead; Django survived, but was separated from his children, while the traumatized Wanda and Pietro also fled, believing their foster father to have died. After several months of surviving on their own in the woods, the siblings ventured into a nearby town, where Wanda's powers inadvertently set fire to a house. Set upon by villagers who believed the pair to be "in league with the Devil", they were rescued by the timely arrival of Magneto, the mutant master of magnetism. Magneto was in fact their father, but neither he nor the siblings were aware of this at the time. Exploiting the pair's gratitude, Magneto pressed them into service as part of his anti-human terrorist unit, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Now known as the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, Wanda and Pietro accompanied Magneto and his fellow mutants in their power-seeking efforts, clashing with the heroic X-Men. After a time, the siblings, disillusioned with Magneto and feeling that their debt to him had been paid, decided to abandon their terrorist activities; alongside the archer and ex-criminal Hawkeye, they joined the Avengers under the leadership of Captain America. As a member of this foursome, the first major reorganization of the still young super-team, the Scarlet Witch served with distinction against such foes as Dr Doom, the Mole Man, Kang, and others.

As the team expanded, the Scarlet Witch, despite her brother's disapproval, became romantically drawn to one of her fellow Avengers, the android known as the Vision. To better control her power, she began taking sorcery lessons from the witch Agatha Harkness, and after both she and the Vision had built their confidence, the couple married. At the time, none of the Avengers realized the Limbo lord Immortus, who sought to arrange events so the Scarlet Witch would never have children whose power would grow to be a threat, had subtly encouraged the marriage.

Abilities: Has the ability to shrink to roughly the size of an ant, also can communicate telepathically with insects, and (as Ant-Man) can punch with as much force as a normal sized person, Expertise in electronics.

Weapons: Possesses a helmet which is used to communicate to, and control, insects and amplify his voice so that a normal sized person can hear him; also has wrist gauntlets, which enable him to shoot bioelectric blasts.

Biography: Scott Lang was an electronic engineer who was unable to support his family, and decided to turn to crime. He was caught and sentenced to 5 years in jail, but got out early for good behavior. Once freed he began to work at Stark International's design department. When his daughter was diagnosed with a fatal heart condition, Lang sought help from Dr. Erica Sondheim, who was kidnapped by Cross Technological Enterprises founder Darren Cross, for help with his own heart condition. In order to rescue her, and save his daughter, Lang broke in to the home of Dr. Henry Pym, the first Ant-Man, and stole his technology. After a successful rescue, Lang tried to turn himself in, but Pym allowed him to keep the suit, but for the purpose of good.

Abilities: Due to his extensive training as a soldier, a C.I.A.

operative, a samurai, a spy, and a member of the X-Men,

Wolverine is an exceptional hand-to-hand combatant, having

mastered virtually every fighting style on Earth. He is also a trained

expert in multiple types of weapons, vehicles, computer systems,

explosives, and assassination techniques. Wolverine is fluent in

many languages, including Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Cheyenne,

Lakota, and Spanish; he has some knowledge of French, Thai, and

Vietnamese. Wolverine is a mutant who possesses the ability to

regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his cellular structure at a rate far greater than that of an

ordinary human. The speed at which this healing factor works varies in direct proportion with the severity

of the damage Wolverine suffers. For example, he can fully recover from an ordinary gunshot wound in a

non-vital area of his body within minutes, but it took him almost two months to fully recover from injuries

sustained in a duel with Lord Shingen, which included one from a sword that went all the way through his

trunk.

Wolverine’s natural healing also affords him virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs, as well as an enhanced resistance to diseases. For example, it is nearly impossible for him to become intoxicated from drinking alcohol. He also has a limited immunity to the fatigue poisons generated by bodily activity, and hence he has greater endurance than an ordinary human. His agility and reflexes are similarly enhanced. In addition, Wolverine’s healing factor provides him with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process. Although over a century old, Wolverine is as healthy and physically fit as a man in his prime. Wolverine also possesses superhumanly acute senses, making him capable of seeing things at a maximum distance greater than a normal human’s. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, and he is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if that person or object is hidden. Wolverine can use these enhanced senses to track any creature with an impressive degree of success. Wolverine’s skeleton includes six retractable one-foot long bone claws, three in each arm, that are housed beneath the skin and muscle of his forearms. Wolverine can, at will, release these slightly curved claws through his skin beneath the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but the blood loss is quickly halted by his healing factor. Wolverine can unsheathe any number of his claws at once, although he must keep his wrists straight at the moment his claws shoot from his forearms into his hands. When unsheathed, the claws are fully within his hands, and thus Wolverine can still bend his wrists. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than that of normal human bone structure, allowing Wolverine to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials.

Despite the extent of his healing factor, Wolverine is not immortal. If the injuries are extensive enough,

especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of physical form,

such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid, Wolverine can die.

Weapons: Wolverine’s entire skeletal structure, including his claws, has been artificially bonded to the

nearly indestructible metal Adamantium. As a result, Wolverine’s bones are virtually unbreakable, and his

claws are capable of cutting through almost any substance depending on its thickness and the amount of

force he can exert. Due to his healing factor, the presence of Adamantium in his body does not interfere

with his bones’ normal function of generating blood corpuscles. The reinforcement of his skeleton enables

Wolverine to withstand high levels of physical pressure, giving his muscles sufficient force to briefly

lift/press several hundred pounds. Throughout his life, Wolverine has used a variety of bladed weapons,

most frequently daggers and, at times, swords. He has also wielded many different types of firearms

throughout his careers as a soldier, a mercenary, and a spy.

Biography: A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan"

Howlett's past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, enhanced

senses, and bone claws in his hands that, along with his skeleton, are coated in adamantium, Wolverine is

the ultimate weapon. The man who would be known as the superhero named Wolverine was born as

James Howlett Hudson in the mid 1880’s in Alberta, Canada. He was the second and sickly child to

Elizabeth and John Howlett Sr. His mother was ill and, in the early 1900s, a young Irish girl named Rose

O'Hara was brought to the Howlett estate to be a friend and a caretaker to young James. Together they

befriended a young boy named Dog, son of the grounds keeper, Thomas Logan. Dog tried to form a normal

bond between the two, but due to his father’s resentment and drunken abuse, he grew to resent his

station in life; so much so that one day he makes undue advances on Rose, which are reported by young

James to his father. This whole chain of events leads to Thomas Logan being sacked from his position as

groundskeeper, following which he goes seeking for Elizabeth Howlett, trying to convince her to leave with

him. This leads to an altercation that results in the death of John Howlett. The shock of seeing his father

murdered in front of him leads to the manifestation of young James’ powers and he stabs Thomas with his

newly drawn claws, also slashing Dog across the face before fainting. He and Rose flee the house and make

their way through the harsh Canadian wilderness with James near-catatonic and Rose having to facilitate

their transportation, while Dog tells the police that Rose was the killer.

They arrive at a mine where Rose gives false names, calling James incorrectly as “Logan.” The other

workers dub the revived Logan “the wolverine” because of his penchant for tenaciously digging and begin

to accept him as one of their own due to his incredible work ethic. What they don’t know is that by night,

he runs in the wild with a pack of wolves that he is cowed the alpha of. Dog arrives one day, having

survived his encounter years ago, still holding a massive grudge against Logan. Logan recognizes his

erstwhile friend and accepts his challenge to a brawl to the death. Before Logan can kill Dog, however,

Rose tries to pull him away and is inadvertently stabbed through the chest, killing her and leaving Logan to

mourn alone.

Identity: Unknown

Abilities: Iron Fist is an exceptional athlete, acrobat, and hand-

to-hand combatant. He is a master of all of K'un-Lun's martial arts

and many of Earth's, trained in the use of virtually all martial arts

weapons. He has near-complete control over his nervous system,

enabling him to deaden himself to pain. Through concentration,

Iron Fist can harness his spiritual energy, or chi, to augment his

physical and mental capabilities to peak human levels. By

focusing his chi into his hand, he can tap the superhuman energy

of Shou-Lao and temporarily render his fist superhumanly powerful, immune to pain and injury; however,

this process is mentally draining, and he usually needs recovery time before he can repeat it. Iron Fist can

heal himself of any injury or illness and project this power to heal others. He can sense mystic energy,

particularly that which is related to K'un-Lun. He is capable of fusing his consciousness with that of another

person, enabling each to perceive the other's emotions and memories. He has unusually keen eyesight, but

it is unclear if it extends to superhuman level. His entire body is oriented to combat, enabling him to adapt

to any environment with minimal exposure. At times, he has absorbed energy directed at himself and

channeled it to augment his own power. Under certain circumstances, he can even focus his chi to create

nexus points between dimensions.

Biography: The latest in a long line of warriors who wielded his power against the wicked, Danny Rand is

the Immortal Iron Fist. Protector of the mystical city of K'un Lun, he channels a soul of a dragon making his

fists like unto iron and is one of the greatest martial artists the world has ever known.

Daniel Rand is the son of Wendell Rand, who had, as a youth, visited the mystic city of K'un-Lun, which

materialized in the Himalayas once a decade; founded roughly a million years ago by extraterrestrials,

K'un-Lun was co-ruled by the aliens' descendants and powerful beings called the Dragon Kings, who were

themselves subject to the godlike sorcerer Master Khan. Rand had saved the life of K'un-Lun's ruler Lord

Tuan, who adopted Rand as his heir, to the resentment of Tuan's son, Yu-Ti. During his time in K'un-Lun,

Rand married a woman named Shakari and fathered a daughter, Miranda Rand-K'ai. At some point, Rand

won ritual combat against Davos, son of K'un-Lun's greatest warrior, Lei Kung the Thunderer, which

entitled him to claim the power of Shou-Lao the Undying, a man transformed into a mystic serpent over a

thousand years ago by the Dragon King Chiantang; however, although great K'un-Lun warriors had

periodically wielded Shou-Lao's power as the Iron Fist, Rand declined the power. Ten years after coming to

K'un-Lun, Rand was showing Shakari the restored nexus when Yu-Ti's men attacked them. Shakari was

slain, and the grief-stricken Rand returned to Earth. Within a year, he became a successful businessman

and married Heather Duncan. In his absence, Lord Tuan died and became ruler of Feng-Tu, abode of K'un-

Lun's departed spirits, leaving Yu-Ti to rule K'un-Lun, while Lei Kung, shamed by Davos' defeat, banished his

son to Earth.

When Daniel Rand was nine, at roughly the time K'un-Lun was scheduled to materialize, his father

decided to bring him and Heather to K'un-Lun. Accompanied by Rand's business partner Harold Meachum,

they traveled to the Himalayas, but Wendell fell from a mountain ledge; clutching the edge, he called to

Meachum for help, but Meachum, hoping to control Rand's business shares, caused Wendell to plunge to

his death. Shortly afterward, Heather sacrificed her life to protect Daniel from a wolf pack, and her spirit

ascended to Feng-Tu. The denizens of K'un-Lun found Daniel and took him in, while a frostbite-crippled

Meachum learned of Daniel's survival and spent the next decade preparing elaborate defenses against

future attack.

Name: Luke Cage

Identity: Unknown

Abilities: Cage is a self-taught hand-to-hand combatant with years of

street fighting experience; he is also a superb athlete despite his great height and weight. He is self-

educated in the law and speaks several languages. Cage is superhumanly strong, able to lift/press

approximately 25 tons and punch through barriers as thick as four-inch steel plate. His skin is steel-hard

and his muscles and bone tissue super-dense; he can withstand conventional handgun fire at a range of

four feet and cannot be cut by the sharpest of blades, although in the event of required surgery his skin

can be lacerated by an overpowered medical laser. He can withstand up to one-ton impacts or blasts of

150 pounds of TNT without serious injury, and is impervious to temperature extremes and electrical

shocks. His recovery time from injury or trauma is usually one-third that of an ordinary human.

Biography: Luke Cage, wrongly convicted and unjustly imprisoned, was altered in a failed prison

experiment that granted him unbreakable skin and superhuman strength. With his street smarts, and

unending determination to do right, he fights for the common man! He eventually married Jessica Jones

and had a daughter with her. Luke was also a member of The Avengers and the Leader of Thunderbolts for

a time.

Born and raised in Harlem, Carl Lucas spent his youth in a gang called the Bloods. With his friend Willis

Stryker, he fought the rival gang the Diablos and committed petty thefts, often on behalf of deformed

crimelord Sonny Caputo, a.k.a. Hammer. In and out of juvenile homes throughout his teens, Lucas

dreamed of becoming a major New York racketeer until he finally realized how his actions were hurting his

family; he sought to better himself as an adult, finding legitimate employment. Meanwhile, Stryker rose

through the ranks of crime, but the two men remained friends. When Stryker's activities angered the

Maggia (a.k.a. the Syndicate), he was badly beaten in a mob hit, saved only by Lucas's intervention. When

Stryker's girlfriend, Reva Connors, broke up with him in fear of his violent work, she sought solace from

Lucas. Convinced that Lucas was responsible for the breakup, Stryker planted heroin in Lucas's apartment

(that he stole from drug kingpin Cornell Cottonmouth) and tipped off the police. Lucas was arrested and

sent to prison; contact with his family was sparse due to the resentment of his brother James, Jr., who

intercepted Lucas's letters to their father James and eventually led each to believe the other was dead.

In prison, Lucas was consumed by rage over Stryker's betrayal and his father's supposed death, engaging in

frequent brawls and escape attempts. Eventually transferred to Seagate Prison off the coast of Georgia, he

became the favorite target of sadistic guard Albert "Billy Bob" Rackham, whose brutality ultimately led to a

demotion that he blamed on Lucas. Later, research scientist Dr. Noah Burstein recruited Lucas as a

volunteer for experimental cell regeneration based on a variant of the Super-Soldier process he had

previously used to empower Warhawk. Burstein immersed Lucas in an electrical field conducted by an

organic chemical compound; when he left Lucas unattended, Rackham misused the experiment's controls,

hoping to maim or kill Lucas. Lucas's treatment was accelerated past its intent, inducing body-wide

enhancement that gave him superhuman strength and durability. He used his new power to escape

Seagate and made his way back to New York, where a chance encounter with criminals inspired him to use

his new powers for profit. Adopting the alias Luke Cage and donning a distinctive costume, he launched a

career as a Hero for Hire, helping anyone who could meet his price.

Name: Goliath

Identity: Unknown

Abilities: Foster is a brilliant scientific researcher and inventor

and one of the world’s leading biochemists. He has some

military training and experience in military combat. Foster's

physiology was enhanced by Pym Particles, which enables him

to draw upon mass from another dimension in order to grow in

stature and strength.

Biography: William Foster grew up in a poor neighborhood. He

was able to escape the ghetto due to his natural intelligence and

encouragement of those around him. He attended the California Technical Institute and then enlisted in

the military. After graduating, Foster worked his way up the corporate ladder at Stark Industries. When the

scientist/superhero Hank Pym was stuck at a minimum of ten feet tall, Tony Stark asked Foster to use his

intellect to work with Pym. Some time later, they were able to find a cure for Pym.

Identity: Unknown

Abilities: Ronin is a world-class archer and marksman. His above

average reflexes and hand-eye-coordination make him the most

proficient archer ever known. He is also trained to throw knifes, darts,

balls, bolas and boomerangs. He is natural athlete. He is also formidable

unarmed combatant, thanks largely for longtime combat training with

Captain America. He also has extensive training as an acrobat and

aerialist. He is highly capable and charismatic team leader and a shrewd

combat strategist, albeit sometimes reckless. Barton is also talented weapon designer, particularly well-

versed in variations on basic traditional weaponry such as arrows, blades and hand-thrown projectiles. He

has designed and crafted crescent darts, boomerangs, throwing irons, bolas, axes, custom arrows and

bows. he is experienced motorcycle rider, Barton was one of the of the most proficient and daring pilots of

the Avengers' supersonic Quinjets and other aircraft. He was once 80% deaf due to an injury, but his

hearing was restored during his rebirth on Franklin Richards' Counter-Earth.

Weapons: Sword, throwing stars and nunchakus; When he was Hawkeye he used bow and "trick" arrows

such as: flares, explosives, putty, sonic blasts, buzz saws, electrical discharge, suction cups, tear gas, smoke

bombs, bolas, nets, rockets, and boomerangs.

Biography: Clint Barton was orphaned at an early age when his parents died in a car accident and was sent

to a children's home with his brother Bernard. He and his brother ran away to join the Carson Carnival of

Traveling Wonders, and the pair worked as roustabouts. While a member of the circus, Hawkeye was

trained by the original Swordsman (Jacques Duquesne) and Trickshot. Clint's life, however, would forever

be changed after he stumbled onto the Swordsman counting the money he had just robbed from the

carnival. The Swordsman offered Clint to become his partner in crime, but Clint rejected his mentor,

sparking a fight that ended when the Swordsman left him for dead after he fell from the high wire. Barney,

too, abandoned him, in disbelief that Clint passed up such an opportunity. Trickshot stepped up his role as

Clint's mentor, later asking him to join him in raiding a criminal named Marko. However, Clint severely

injured one of Marko's guards and discovered him to be his brother, Barney. Repelled by the consequences

of his actions (and his mentor's role in prompting them), he abandoned Trickshot and parted on bad terms.

His natural archery abilities honed to an expert level, Clint wandered the country, working in various

carnivals or otherwise making money out of the costume and persona of "Hawkeye". One day, when

witnessing Iron Man save the lives of some people at the carnival, he decided to become a costumed

crime-fighter himself. But as luck would have it, on Hawkeye's first night on patrol, he was mistaken for a

criminal by the police and hunted down.

Identity: Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark

Abilities: Tony has a genius level intellect that allows him to

business mind. Also, Tony's body had been enhanced by the

modified techno-organic virus, Extremis, but it is currently

inaccessible and inoperable.

Weapons: The Iron Man armor includes Tony’s primary energy weapon, repulsor rays, a powerful particle

beam which is standard equipment in the palms of his armor; the repulsor ray can repel physical and

energy-based attacks, traveling as either a single stream or as a wide-field dispersal. The armor has also

been outfitted with pulse bolts (extremely powerful plasma discharges which grow in strength as they seek

their target), sonic generators, explosive shell projectiles, mini-missiles, magnetic field generators and a

laser torch built into the finger of Tony’s gauntlet. The armor’s surface can generate an electric charge to

dispel attackers.

Biography: Anthony Stark was born to Howard Anthony Stark and Maria Collins Carbonell Stark, owners

of the prominent US firm, Stark Industries. As a boy, Tony was fascinated with building and controlling

machines. At the age of 15 Tony entered the undergraduate electrical engineering program at the

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and graduated with two master’s degrees by age 19. Tony

went to work for Stark Industries, but showed more interest in living a reckless playboy lifestyle than using

his engineering skills. At the age of 21, Tony inherited Stark Enterprises when his parents were killed in a

car accident secretly orchestrated by rival corporation Republic Oil (later ROXXON). Still lacking in business

acumen, Tony promoted secretary Virginia "Pepper" Potts to be his executive assistant and left the

majority of his workload on her so that he could avoid what he saw as a burden.

Tony personally attended a field test of his military hardware at one of his international plants; however,

soon after his arrival Stark’s party was attacked by a gang of terrorists led by the Sin-Cong revolutionary

Wong Chu. During the skirmish, a land mine went off and lodged a piece of shrapnel near Tony’s heart.

Taken back to Wong-Chu’s camp, Tony shared a cell with Professor Ho Yinsen, a world-famous physicist.

Wong-Chu demanded that the two scientists develop advanced weaponry for his forces. Knowing that he

could not live long with the shrapnel so close to his heart, Tony proposed that he and Yinsen devote their

gifts to creating one of the battlesuits he had been developing, equipped with a magnetic field generator

to prevent the shrapnel from reaching his heart. The armor they created became the first true Iron Man

armor and was equipped with crude magnetic weaponry for defense. While the armor’s battery was being

powered, some of Wong-Chu’s men attempted to break in on the proceedings. Yinsen went to create a

diversion and was shot to death by Wong-Chu’s men. When the battery had finished charging, Tony went

into battle as Iron Man and tore Wong-Chu’s camp apart. He eventually returned to the USA with the aid of

US Marine James "Rhodey" Rhodes. Tony offered Rhodey a job with his company should he ever need one.

At first, Tony found his new life a torment; his armor’s chest plate had to be worn constantly and required

frequent recharging. He kept the armor a secret from everyone, including his fiancée, Joanna Nivena.

Turning suicidal and drinking heavily, Tony was supported by Joanna, with whom he shared his secret

identity. Joanna encouraged him to use his armor as a super hero, but ultimately called off the

engagement knowing Tony would not be the family man she desired.

Tony worked to improve the Iron Man armor and claimed Iron Man was Tony Stark's

personal bodyguard to disguise his identity. Tony played a dual-role with the formation of the Avengers

both as the sponsor and, as Iron Man, as a founding member along with Thor, Ant-Man (Henry Pym), the

Wasp (Janet van Dyne), and the Hulk. While pursuing Namor the Sub-Mariner, Iron Man came across the

comatose body of Captain America (Steve Rogers) Rogers), the famous World War II super hero, preserved

on ice. Revived, Captain America joined the Avengers and became an important teammate and friend to

Tony. Later, Tony helped establish the international super-spy agency SHIELD to combat terrorist threats.

During these early years as a super hero, Iron Man battled Mandarin, Hawkeye, and the Black

configuration, Rhodes required an external power source to keep himself alive, such as the War Machine

armor. While in armor, Rhodes’ cybernetic links rendered him incapable of sleep, remaining aware even

when his body was unconscious. Rhodes’ arms, legs, right eye and portions of his spine and skull were

replaced with cybernetic parts of titanium/Vibranium compositions. Magno locks within his body could

release his limbs at will or disassemble nearby machinery, incorporating their parts into his limbs or the

War Machine armor. While possessed by the Ultimo virus, Rhodes could generate metallic tendrils from his

body; he retained the ability to fire optic energy blasts even after the virus was purged. Even without the

Ultimo technology, Rhodes’ bionic eye could fire a laser beam.

Biography: James "Rhodey" Rhodes was a US Marine who served several tours in Southeast Asia while

studying to become an aviation engineer. In the service, he grew close with his comrade Parnell Jacobs,

whom he introduced to childhood friend Glenda Sandoval. Parnell and Glenda eventually fell in love and

married.

Rhodes was a soldier with a conscience, willing to kill if a mission required it, yet haunted by every life he

took. During one mission, Rhodes’ helicopter was shot down in a jungle and was discovered by Iron Man

(Tony Stark), who had recently escaped from the guerrilla Wong-Chu and needed transportation. Iron Man

helped repair Rhodes’ helicopter and they made it to safety together. Afterward, Rhodes was approached

by Tony Stark, claiming to be Iron Man’s "employer," and was offered a job as Stark’s pilot. Rhodes agreed

to take him up on his offer when his tour of duty was completed. For a while, Rhodes worked as a

mercenary with Parnell, but when he caught Parnell running guns to the dictatorship of Santo Marco, he

went back to Tony to make good on his word.

Name: Black Widow

Identity: Natalia "Natasha" Alianovna Romanova

Abilities: Black Widow customarily wears two bracelets equipped to

discharge the "widow’s bite," high-frequency electrostatic bolts of up to

30,000 volts, capable of stunning even a superhuman opponent at a range

of at least 20 feet, shoot tear gas cartridges and act as a radio transmitter.

The bracelets’ various functions are activated by galvanic sensors keyed to

Black Widow’s wrist musculature. At times she carries plastic explosive

discs equivalent to 4 pounds of TNT in her belt and uses automatic

weapons and/or combat knives as necessary. Plus, Government treatments

have slowed her aging, augmented her immune system and enhanced her

physical durability.

Biography: Born circa 1928, Natalia "Natasha" Romanova was apparently orphaned as a child when she

was trapped in a burning building during an early attack on Stalingrad by enemy forces. Ivan Petrovitch

Bezukhov, a Soviet soldier, found Natasha in the inferno and rescued her. Although Ivan kept a close eye

on Natasha as she grew, by the late 1930s she had attracted the attention of Soviet intelligence, which

began her training. In 1941, she was almost brainwashed into serving the ninja clan the Hand, but was

Abilities: T'Challa is a brilliant tactician, strategist, scientist,

tracker and a master of all forms of unarmed combat whose

unique hybrid fighting style incorporates acrobatics and aspects of

animal mimicry. T'Challa being a royal descendent of a warrior race

is also a master of armed combat, able to use a variety of weapons but prefers unarmed combat. He is a

master planner who always thinks several steps ahead and will go to extreme measures to achieve his

goals and protect the kingdom of Wakanda. Also, T'Challa's senses and physical attributes have been

enhanced to superhuman levels by the heart-shaped herb.

Biography: T'Challa is the Black Panther, King of Wakanda, one of the most technologically advanced

nations on Earth. He is among the top intellects and martial artists of the world, a veteran Avenger, and a

member of the Illuminati. Using his powers and abilities, he has pledged his fortune, powers, and life to the

service of all mankind.

Long ago, a huge meteorite made of a rare mineral now known as Vibranium, crashed landed in Wakanda.

The first king of Wakanda, Black Panther Bashenga, harnessed the mineral and used it to nurture his

nation. Thousands of years later, under the ruling of Black Panther T‘Chaka, Wakanda's level of

technological and economic achievements continued to excel far beyond those of the modern world.

T'Chaka concealed Wakanda from the rest of world to prevent it from being manipulated by outsiders.

His first wife, N'Yami, died while in labor with Prince T’Challa. Years later, a Dutch scientist named Ulysses

Klaw found a way into Wakanda, created a Vibranium sound-based weapon, and used it to kill King

T’Chaka. Prince T’Challa, only a child at the time, managed to turn the sound weapon on Klaw, destroying

his right hand. Klaw fled the country, exposed Wakanda to the outside world, and vowed revenge.

Prince T'Challa would later become king after defeating his uncle, King S'yan, in a once-a-year ritual

that allowed anyone of Wakandan royalty to become king/queen by defeating the current ruler in hand-to-

hand combat. Given the fact that the ruling Black Panther possessed enhanced and superhuman abilities

from digesting the Wakandan Heart-shaped Herb, the chance of an average man defeating a Black Panther

was slim. However, T’Challa succeeded. He also digested the Heart-shaped Herb, which gave him

superhuman senses and provided him with enhanced agility, strength, and over all physical capability.

Name: Spider-Man

Identity: Peter Benjamin Parker

Abilities: Peter can cling to most surfaces, has superhuman strength (able to lift 10 tons optimally) and is roughly 15 times more agile than a regular human. The combination of his acrobatic leaps and web-slinging enables him to travel rapidly from place to place. His spider-sense provides an early warning detection system linked with his superhuman kinesthetics,

enabling him the ability to evade most any injury, provided he doesn't cognitively override the autonomic reflexes. Note: his power enhancements through his transformation by the Queen and after battling Morlun - including his organic web glands and stingers - have been undone after Spider-Man's deal with Mephisto. Moreover, Peter is an accomplished scientist, inventor and photographer.

Biography: Orphaned as a baby when his parents were killed overseas in a plane crash as U.S. government spies, only child Peter Parker was raised by his elderly Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Socially, however, he was painfully shy and the target of much cruelty by his peers at Midtown High School. care of himself and his aunt and uncle. After his first TV special ended, he allowed a burglar that he could have easily restrained to run past him and escape. A few days later, Peter returned home to find his beloved Uncle Ben had been shot and killed. When Spider-Man confronted the killer hiding in the old Acme Warehouse at the waterfront, he discovered to his horror that his uncle's murderer was the burglar he apathetically allowed to pass. Consumed with guilt, he became aware at last that with great power comes great responsibility, just as his beloved uncle had once said.

To help his Aunt May with finances, Peter took a freelance job at the Daily Bugle selling pictures of himself as Spider-Man to publisher J. Jonah Jameson. Despite Spider-Man rescuing his son, astronaut John Jameson, from a malfunctioning space capsule, Jonah used his newspaper to publicly condemn Spider-Man as a menace. Abilities: Like her cousin, Jennifer possesses great strength, durability, endurance and a healing factor. Unlike her cousin, she almost always retains her full intelligence and personality as She-Hulk. She is also able

to switch from She-Hulk to Jennifer Walters, but does not always have control of her transformation. In the past, Jennifer's inability to switch forms was due to a psychological block. Jennifer has learned a Ovid body-switching technique, but rarely uses it. The Scarlet Witch also put an enchantment on She-Hulk so that anyone who wishes to harm She-Hulk will not be able to perceive her while she's in the form of Jen Walters. While useful it later backfired and was removed by Doctor Strange.

Biography: Jennifer Walters, the meek and mousy lawyer cousin of Bruce Banner, was the daughter of Sheriff Morris Walters. Agents of Nicholas Trask, a crime boss who had crossed paths with her father, shot and seriously wounded her on a day when her cousin was in town. Bruce gave her a blood transfusion, as no other donors of her blood type were available; the radioactive blood mutated Jennifer as it had her cousin, transforming her into the She-Hulk.

Although Jennifer was at first savage while in her form as She-Hulk, she eventually gained the same intelligence she had as the normal Jennifer Walters. She quickly came to appreciate the confidence and assertiveness that had come with being She-Hulk. For a long time, she felt more comfortable in her form as She-Hulk than in her "normal" form as Jennifer. But she has gradually grown comfortable in both forms, and realized that she has much to offer the world in both her forms. After a brief solo career, she joined the Avengers and temporarily replaced the Thing in the Fantastic Four.

Abilities: Reed Richards is perhaps the greatest living genius of his time, proficient in almost all fields of science and technology, a visionary theoretician and inspired machine smith who has made breakthroughs in such varied fields as space travel, time travel, extra-dimensional travel, biochemistry, robotics, computers, synthetic polymers, communications, mutations, transportation, holography, energy generation, spectral analysis and more. He is also a natural leader and a gifted tactician and strategist.

Mister Fantastic can shift his body (or portions of same) into a super-malleable state, enabling him to stretch, compress, expand, deform, elongate, contract or otherwise reshape his physical form at will. He can stretch his limbs, neck and torso to incredible lengths, though extending himself beyond approximately 1500 feet is a serious physical strain. When assuming non-humanoid shapes, he tends to favor simple constructs such as barricades, canopies, cylinders, cubes, nets, parachutes and spheres, generally assuming a volume of no greater than 1.7 cubic feet (though he can expand far beyond that volume if the shape he forms is thin-shelled and hollow). He can render himself paper-thin, or become slim enough in diameter to thread the eye of a needle. His malleable form renders him relatively immune to most conventional impacts; for instance, bullets fired into his body tend to bounce back at the shooter, and he can bodily contain small explosions. It is almost impossible to lacerate or puncture his skin unless he consciously allows such penetrations. By reshaping his features, Reed can disguise himself at will.

Biography: Reed Richards was born in Central City, California and the son of Nathaniel and Evelyn Richards. Reed’s father was a brilliant scientific genius and a trait that Reed inherited. Reed excelled in mathematics, physics, and mechanics and was enrolled in college by the age of 14. He went to multiple colleges including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, California Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Columbia University, and Empire State University. While attending EMU he met and became a roommate of Ben Grimm. They became great friends and Reed shared his dream of building a spaceship himself.

After EMU, Reed continued to go to school at Columbia University, and he rented an apartment from Sue Storm's Aunt. Sue quickly fell in love with Reed. Reed, also met Victor Von Doom, while attending Columbia University. Doom loved that Reed could rival his intellect. Eventually Doom became jealous of Reed and began conducting reckless experiments that scarred his face.

Reed next enrolled at Harvard and earned his P.H.D. in physics and a mastery in mechanical, aerospace and electrical engineering, chemistry and all levels of human and alien biology by the age of 22. After he was done with school he used his inheritance and government funding to finance his project. He began building his spaceship in Central City. Sue Storm would move to this same area and eventually found herself dating Reed again. Reed would ask Ben to pilot the ship for him. The government denied the flight into space so Reed, Sue, Ben, and Johnny decided to sneak onto the ship and they took the ship into outer space. Reed miscalculated and forgot the abnormality of the radiation from the cosmic radiation. The rays destroyed the ship and they crash-landed back on earth. After the crash Reed found out that he could stretch his body like elastic at will. Reed adopts the name Mr. Fantastic and convinces the four of them to use their powers for good.

Identity: Susan Storm Richards

Abilities: Sue can render herself wholly or partially invisible at will. She can also render other people or objects invisible, affecting up to forty thousand cubic feet of volume. She achieves these feats by mentally bending all wavelengths of light in the vicinity around herself or the target in question, and she somehow does this without causing any visible distortion effects; she also somehow directs enough undistorted light to her eyes to retain her full range of vision

while invisible. Sue can also mentally generate a psionic field of invisible force apparently drawn from hyperspace, which she manipulates for a variety of effects. Most commonly, Sue generates near-indestructible invisible force fields around herself or other targets. She can vary the texture and tensile strength of her field to some extent, rendering it highly rigid or as soft and yielding as foam; softer variations on the field enable her to cushion impacts more gently, and are less likely to result in a psionic backlash against Sue herself (in rare cases, sufficiently powerful attacks on her psionic fields can cause her mental or physical pain). Sue can shape her psionic force fields into invisible constructs, usually simple shapes such as barriers, columns, cones, cylinders, darts, discs, domes, platforms, rams, ramps, slides and spheres. Biography: Long the least visible member of the Fantastic Four in more ways than one, the once-passive Sue Richards has matured into a formidable and commanding heroine over the years-but it is still her warmly maternal presence that binds the team together. Born Susan Storm, Sue and her brother Johnny had a happy childhood until their mother Mary died in a car crash. Their father, celebrated surgeon Doctor Franklin Storm, survived the accident without injury but was unable to save his wife despite his best medical efforts. His spirit broken, Dr. Storm abandoned his practice, becoming a gambler and a drunk, and eventually went to prison after he accidentally killed an underworld loan shark during a struggle. Sue became more like a mother than a sister to Johnny thereafter, though both were soon placed in the custody of their loving aunt Marygay. While she was still quite young, Sue became smitten with her aunt's handsome and brilliant tenant, science prodigy Reed Richards, then a university student.

Grimm was reluctant, but accepted the challenge after Sue questioned his courage. Sue and her brother Johnny insisted on coming along as well, wishing to share the risk. The quartet successfully launched into space, but intense cosmic rays penetrated the ship's shielding and irradiated the crew, forcing them back to Earth. On landing, they discovered they had mutated into superhumans, and Sue became the Invisible Girl. Dedicating their new powers to super-heroics and scientific exploration, the quartet became the Fantastic Four. so is able to render himself intangible or extraordinarily massive and

diamond-hard at will. He can partially materialize within another

person, causing his victim extreme pain. The solar cell on the Vision's

temperatures ranging from 500 to 30,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Biography:The metal monstrosity called Ultron created the synthetic humanoid known as the Vision from

the remains of the original, android Human Torch of the 1940s to serve as a vehicle of vengeance against

the Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Himself constructed by size-changing scientist Henry Pym, Ultron

inadvertently gained sentience and rebelled against the Avengers' resident roboticist. The living machine

programmed the Vision's neural processors with the brain patterns of the ionically charged costumed

champion called Wonder Man and implanted a control crystal to keep him in check.

Ultron dispatched the Vision to draw the Avengers into a deathtrap, and it was during this initial encounter

that the diminutive dynamo known as the Wasp coined the synthezoid's name. At first sight of the spectral

entity, the horrified heroine called him an "unearthly, inhuman vision." Moved by the Avengers' plight, the

Vision betrayed his programming and helped the mighty mortals defeat his calculating creator.

The Vision served the Avengers faithfully for a number of years, standing with his teammates against the

foes no single hero could defeat. Tentatively at first, the almost-human android embarked on a romantic

relationship with the hex-casting heroine called the Scarlet Witch that blossomed into true love and

marriage. The newlyweds left Avengers Mansion to live a quiet life in New Jersey.

Abilities: Pym is a brilliant scientist in both the feilds of

robotics/cybernetics and biochemistry. During his carreer, he created

robot Ultron, explored and repaired the Vision often, and created much of the Avengers' equipment.

Another robot, Rover, was a jet with rudimentary artificial intelligence and sophisticated offensive

capabilities. His greatest scientific acheivement, however, was the discovery of "Pym particles" that enable

mass to be shunted or gained from an alternate dimension.

Weapons: As Yellowjacket, Pym used his shrinking ability along with a bio-energy gun (later incorporated

into blasting gauntlets.)

Biography: For several years, Pym had been in love with Janet van Dyne, but because of his repressed

personality, and her abundant wealth, he resisted marrying her. One day while working in his laboratory,

whilst thinking of the fact that he wanted to marry van Dyne but couldn't, Pym accidentally dropped and

smashed some vials containing various unknown gases. The released gases wreaked a radical temporary

personality change in Pym, what could be seen as a severe case of schizophrenia. He took the new identity

of Yellowjacket, claimed that he had murdered Henry Pym, kidnapped van Dyne, and proposed marriage to

her, as Pym had long wanted to do. Realizing that Yellowjacket was really Pym, Van Dyne decided to play

along, fearing that she would worsen his psychological condition if she did otherwise.

The Avengers, not suspecting at first, were shocked to hear that she said yes to the proposal. Van Dyne and

Pym, as Yellowjacket were married at Avengers Mansion amidst an assembled who's-who of superheroes

active at the time, as well as some villains who were hiding and secretly pretending to be the caterers.

Immediately after the marriage, the Avengers were attacked by the Ringmaster and his Circus of Crime.

The shock of seeing van Dyne in danger of death (via the Princess' python), shocked Pym back into his

normal personality. The Avengers defeated the Ringmaster and company. Despite the fact that Pym was

married under an assumed name, the marriage between Pym and van Dyne was still legal, and Pym and

Van Dyne happily agreed to let it stand.

Pym renounced his power to became a giant due to its continuing physical strains, and used the name and

costume of Yellowjacket in crime fighting. He spent periods of time with the Avengers, and a couple of

times with the Defenders as Yellowjacket, and also briefly returned to his Ant-Man persona for a short time

(becoming trapped at ant size for a while), but he spent most of his time completely devoted to his

scientific research. He gave his blessing to Scott Lang when Lang used his old equipment to become the

second Ant-Man.

Secret Avengers: The Secret Avengers was founded by Captain America in response to the Superhuman

Registration Act, set up precisely for those who wanted to fight against Iron Man's initiative for

superhuman registration. After the death of Captain America at the hands of a sniper, the group known as

the Secret Avengers has been disbanded and the majority of the core members have joined the

underground Avengers.

They fought against the registration act by helping other heroes and villains escape the country, or go into

hiding. The team went through several roster changes during the conflict, with its biggest change

happening after the death of Bill Foster, as several heroes left the group (seeing it as a mistake) and many

more joined the group and viewing Foster's death as proof of the Registration force's evil.

Prison 42: During the Super-Hero Civil War, a group of heroes led by Iron Man, Mister Fantastic and

Yellowjacket created a massive prison in the Negative Zone to house captured non-registering heroes as

they waited for their trials. It was designated Negative Zone Prison Alpha but nicknamed "Fantasy Island"

or "Wonderland" by inmates. Tony Stark himself named it "Project 42", as it had been the 42nd idea out of

a hundred that he, Reed Richards and Hank Pym had created following the Stamford Disaster. There were

portals to it planned for every single state so prisoners could be transported there by the different teams

in the Fifty State Initiative- including one at Ryker's Island. It was very clean, with sanitation, but extremely

heavily-guarded, including password-changes in every ten minutes.

Thunderbolts: During the super-hero Civil War, an army of captured criminals was organized under the

Thunderbolts moniker (often referred to as the "Thunderbolts Army"). Divided into numerous groups, they

were stationed around the US and kept in contact through Overmind, worked to quell the number of

super-powered individuals created when the Grandmaster accessed the Wellspring of Power. As the

number of super-powered civilians rose, the majority of the members deserted the ranks, hoping to save

themselves.

While the Civil War between the hero community took place, Norman Osborn was placed in a

leadership role for the Thunderbolts and had him persuade various villains to join the new group of

Thunderbolts on a more permanent basis. Moonstone, Radioactive Man, and Swordsman agreed to join

Songbird in the CSA's Thunderbolts. Even though it appears that Songbird is responsible for this new group

of Thunderbolts, it has yet to be revealed who exactly is responsible for placing Osborn in the position of

leader of the group and for what purposes.

The 50 State Initiative: The Initiative, also known as the Fifty-State Initiative is a United States federal

government program designed to monitor, regulate, coordinate and train America's super heroes, forging

many of them into a nationwide army.

The Initiative was built around the Superhuman Registration Act (SHRA), although, sometimes it

was called the “Super Hero Registration Act.” It was the most sweeping legislation of its kind to date, The

SHRA sought the registration and regulation of all confirmed or suspected super human beings; all people

armed with unique or exotic technologies that simulate or approximate superhuman powers; and all

masked or costumed crime fighters, regardless of whether they possessed special powers or unique

technologies. While the text of the act itself refers only to the registration of actual super-humans, officials

had wide latitude in terms of enforcement, erring on the side of inclusiveness; as such, anyone whose

methods or abilities echo those of a typical super-powered hero was required to register.
