– VE Zone – Areas expected to be affected by waves 3 feet and higher in the 1% chance storm

• Base Flood Elevation established – AE Zone – Areas expected to be flooded by waves of

less than 3 feet in the 1% chance storm • Base Flood Elevation established

– LiMWA – Limit of Moderate Wave Action, where the wave height is 1.5 feet. The area between the LiMWA and the VE zone is the Coastal A zone
