FEIST-METALS Digipak Deconstruction
FEIST-METALS
Digipak Deconstruction
FRONT COVER
FRONT COVERThe front cover when you first look at it is very
interesting as at first you only see the tree shaped as
the letter f. Although when you look properly at the
image you can see Feist laying on one of the
branches. As soon as you have see her you can’t not
see her when you look at the image. I think that this
has been done to emphasis how important Feist is,
with out her there is not album.
FRONT COVEROn the right hand side of the cover you can see the
artist and album name in two different colours,
which work well with the colours in the back ground.
‘Metals’ is below ‘Feist’ and is the opposite way
round, this gives the affect the text is a reflection of
the each other. This could connote that the image is
in the country side with pools of water, the country
side in the background also connotes that the image
is from the country side or the wild.

The text on the CD is ‘FEIST-METALS’, this helps
to link the whole Digipak together. Another reason
for this could be that Feist is not a hugely popular
artist with the majority, so by having her name and
album on all of her product will help the audience to
associate and realise that this is fesit’s products.
The colour used on the CD is sliver and white,
there is an unusual pattern on the CD which will
attract attention from the audience.
BACK PAGE
BACK PAGE
The use of the same font throughout the Digipak
has help to link the whole thing together really well.
The unusual font will be anchored to this artist and
album. The image on the back page is a close up of a
tree this links in with the front cover as there was an
image of a tree on the front cover. At the bottom of
the page there is two record label logo and these
image are anchorage to the record company.
