Also, as "Kyoto protocol" comes into effect on 16 February 2005, which is targeted on greenhouse gas reduction, the development of alternative energy is urgent. There are many kind of alternative energies like solar, geothermal, hydro, wind, tidal, and bio energy. But of them, it is easy to use a wind power generation because of our geographical condition surrounded by water on three sides. Wind power generation has environmental-friendly, which is the most aggressive measure to prevent global warming on the international environmental protection. However, wind power generation has many problems such as geographical limitation on installation, large initial investment costs and noise. Also, a large wind farm sides is needed in order to get more economic effects.
