FMSC Volunteer Info... Volunteers must arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift. Volunteers must wear closedtoe shoes. Volunteers should stay at home if they are not feeling well or if they have severe food allergies. Jewelry must be removed in the packing room, so leave it at home if you can (this is an FDA regulation FMSC must follow). There are sitting jobs for those who need it, but you must be present for the entire shift. There are jobs for children accompanied with an adult & childcare for young children. Feed My Starving Children Each of the 100,000 meals that we will pack costs 24 cents, which means our overall fundraising goal is $24,000. Thank you to all who have given donations so far, here is a breakdown of where we're at in our overall fundraising as of February 26th: 1) 50th fund donations - $15,000 (We've received $13,783 so far.) 2) Quarters - $2,000 (We've received $1,755 so far.) 3) Outside Organizations - $3,000 (We've "got" $2,750 so far in this area.) 4) March 30-31 Donations & Purchases - $3,000 (None so far. Flowers have been placed in the Worship

Center to the glory of God by the Smith family

in memory of Lucille Smith.

Children are welcome in our worship services. As an alternative, a

nursery for infants through 3 year olds is available in the hallway to the

east of the lobby. The nursery is staffed from 8am to 12pm on Sunday

mornings, but is available for your personal use any time. The worship

service can be heard in the nursery. If you need assistance, please ask

an usher.

Holy Communion first and third weekends at 5 PM and 8 AM. Every

Sunday at 10:30 AM. We welcome all who have been instructed and

confirmed in the faith, who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior and

in the true presence of His body and blood in the sacrament.

Prayer Requests Please fill out the Prayer Request card and hand it to

an usher.

Encouragement Cards Send a message to the homebound, elderly,

sick or hospitalized, address the card, place it in the offering plate.

Pew Bibles We encourage you to use the Bibles in the pews to enhance

your worship experience. If you are in need of a Bible, please feel free to

take one as a gift from St. Luke’s.

Nametags: Get to know your family! Wear your nametag! If you do not

have a nametag and would like one, please contact the church office.

Donation Weekend!! The first Weekend of each month is designated as

―Donation Weekend‖. Please place nonperishable food items in the

grocery cart. Items in high demand are: canned meats (i.e. tuna, ham,

chicken, etc.), chili, ravioli, chunky type soups & fruit. Other items

needed are: toilet paper, diapers, instant coffee, sugar, powdered milk,

personal hygiene items, etc. Thank you for your continued support!

“The Prodigal God” Sermon Series...we invite small groups

and Bible studies to join us over the next weeks in studying

Luke 15. We have a study guide with questions for each

week based on the sermon. (Our sermons can also be found

on our website.) To get a copy of the study guide,

with quarters for our "Feed My Starving Children" event,

Befriender Ministry...Want to make a difference in the life of

another? Consider becoming a BeFriender. A BeFriender is

one whom Christ can use to be a listening presence to those

with various needs. The BeFriender training will be held on

Sunday mornings during the Bible Study Hour. If interested

contact Dorothy Johnson or John Hollmann through the

Church Office.

50th Anniversary Fund ~ As we celebrate the past, we also

look forward to St. Luke's future with three projects.
