From the Principal’s Desk Dear all, It should come as no surprise that success — or failure — at school starts at home. Studies have linked poor academic performance to factors such as a lack of sleep, poor nutrition, obesity, and a lack of parental support.
The good news is that those same studies also show higher test scores for students who live in homes where healthy habits, regular routines, and good communication exist. How can you ensure your child heads off to school with the best possible foundation?
Follow these few tips and watch your child thrive. Enforce Healthy Habits You can’t perform well when you don’t feel good. To help your child have the best chance at doing well in school, make sure she follows healthy habits at home. Choose a bedtime that will give your child plenty of sleep, and provide a healthy breakfast each morning. Encourage exercise, and limit the amount of time she spends watching TV, playing video games, listening to music, or using the computer.
Stick to a Routine Most kids thrive on structure and will respond well to routines that help them organize their days. In our house, for example, my son gets dressed, makes his bed, and eats breakfast while I make his lunch and pack his school bag with completed homework and forms. When he gets home in the afternoon, I serve him a snack and he does his homework while I prepare dinner. Your routines may differ, but the key is to make it the same every day so your child knows what to expect.
Designate a Space At school your child has a desk or table where she works. There is plenty of light, lots of supplies, and enough room to work. Why not provide her with the same type of environment for homework? A designated homework space often makes it easier and more fun for children to complete assignments at home. A desk is great, but a basket of supplies and a stretch of kitchen counter work just as well.

Take the Lead Children learn by example. Let your kids “catch” you reading. Take time to learn a new skill and discuss the experience with them. Sit down and pay bills or do other “homework” while your kids do their schoolwork. If you display a strong work ethic and continually seek out learning opportunities for yourself, your kids will begin to model that same behavior in their own lives. Talk Often Do you know how your child feels about her classroom, her teacher, and her classmates? If not, ask her. Talk with her about what she likes and doesn’t like at school. Give her a chance to express her anxieties, excitements, or disappointments about each day, and continue to support and encourage her by praising her achievements and efforts. Show Interest Don’t limit your support to your child; extend it to her teachers as well. Meet the teachers and stay in regular contact by phone or e-mail so that you can discuss any concerns as they arise. Not only will it pave the way for you to ask questions, but it will also make the teachers more comfortable with calling you if they have concerns about your child. Expect Success Perhaps the most important way you can support your child’s efforts at school is to expect him to succeed. That doesn’t mean that you demand he be the best student or the best athlete or the best artist. Rather, let him know that you expect him to do “his best” so that he’ll be proud of what he can accomplish. If you make that expectation clear and provide a home environment that promotes learning, then your child will have a greater chance of becoming the best student he can be. God Bless!

KEY TO SUCCESS Success is everybody’s dream. Everyone has to struggle in this world to conquer every hindrance in the way to success. For this hard work is obligatory. There is a well known proverb “no pain, no gain” hard work never goes wasted. Although it may be later or sooner success comes to your feet. “One percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration” Edison’s definition of genius has often been quoted to characterize success as well.
To succeed in life one must endure the challenges life presents and work to overcome these challenges to be the best possible person that one can be. We must not only use hard work to impress those around us but also to achieve goals that we set for ourselves. If we as individuals do not work hard to succeed, then we do not receive the same satisfaction as we would if we put in hour upon hour or even year upon year of work to achieve our goals. Procrastination and laziness keep us from making the first steps and we put things for “later”. “Later” is a very dangerous term because it has tendency of transforming into ‘‘never’’. As a result we all have goals we never reach because we never get to the point to start. Remember – journey starts with the first step. So take that first step, start now. In schools and learning institutions, students need to perform well in education. Those who work hard dedicate more of their time studying and believe in their abilities, acquire better marks and grades in the class. The reason the best and leading students are rewarded. It is also to encourage other students to work hard in their studies for success and better results. You need to have the true faith that your success is a matter of time. Communicate with those, who encourage, support and believe in your success. Read inspirational articles, books and true success stories.

Things will not work out immediately but don’t get discouraged and give up too soon. The most important step to success is to keep going forward. Getting even millimeter closer to your goal today from where you were yesterday is already an achievement. Most probably you will not reach your goal overnight, but you will reach different small milestones in-between. Celebrate those small victories, because they are the counter arguments to your doubts and insecurities. God has equipped you for life, but he lets you decide what you want to be. The courage must come from the soul within; you must furnish the will to win. So figure it out yourself, you were born with all the great have had. So start for the top and say, “I can.” Our future and our fate lie in our wills more than in our hands, for our hands are but the instruments of our wills. Regardless of the magnitude of the task, tackle it with all of your heart, soul and mind. Sing your song, dream your dreams, hope your hopes and pray your prayers. Don’t let anyone to steal your dreams. Follow your heart. Focusing also works with your power of thought. Try it and ignite your wandering ideas. Simple truths are timeless. It’s only the half-truths guided by external realities that change. Sticking to the eternal calling of your heart is the surest way to happiness and success always! माणसाला जीवनात यशस्वी होण्यासाठी ववद्यार्थी दशपेासूनच काही चाांगल्या सवयी लागणे आवश्यक आहे.एक एक पायरी चढून आपण ऊां च शशखर गाठू शकतो. तसेच एक एक गुण सांपन्न करून आपण यश व प्रशसध्दी शमळवू शकतो. ज्ञान ग्रहण करण्यासाठी आपण शाळेत जातो त्यात ननत्यता हवी तसेच त्याच बरोबर ग्रहण केलेले ज्ञान आचरणात आणने गरजेचे आहे. तरच तुमच्या ज्ञान ग्रहणाचे सार्थथक होईल. शशक्षक व पालकाांववषयी आदराची भावना असायल हवी. मोठया व्यकतीांववषयी श्रध्दा असायला हवी. ववद्यार्थी दशते शशष्टाचार खूप आवश्यक आहे. शशष्टाचार आणण ननयमाांचे पालन केले नाही तर जीवन असफल होऊ शकते. शशकण्याच्या ठराववक वयात त्याने शशकायलाच हवे. ववनाकारण फफरून वेळ फूकट घालवू नये. ननरर्थथक बोलू नये. फॅशनने ववद्यार्थयाांना फार प्रभाववत केले आहे. त्यामुळे सांयम, ननयम, आणण सदाचार या ननयमाांचे ऊल् लांघन होत आहे. आजच्या ववद्यार्थयाांमध्ये शशक्षकाांववषयी श्रध्देची भावना राहहलेली नाही त्याला कारण आजची शशक्षण पध्दती जबाबदार आहे असे मला वाटते. ववद्यार्थी पुस्तकी कीड ेबनले आहेत फकत परीक्षा पास होणे हाच त्याांच मुख्य उदे्दश झाला आहे. शालेय जजवनात शशक्षणा बरोबर खेळ व स्पर्ाांमध्ये वाव शमळवायला हवा. शालेय व घरातीत वातावरण प्रसन्न असायला हवे. प्रत्येक देशाचे भववष्य पूढील भावी वपढीांवर अवलांबुन आहे. त्या देशाच्या राष्रीय जजवनात काही समस्या येऊ शकत नाही त्यामळेु देशाचा ववकास होईल. jaaoAanaa

काहीतरी वमळविण्यासाठी धडपड करीत असतो.प्रत्येकाला जीिनात काहीतरी
यश वमळिायच े असते.प्रत्येकाला आपल्याकडे समदृ्धी यािी,पसैा असािा अस े
िाटत.े
तो वमळविण्यासाठी तो खपू प्रकारच्या क्लपु्तत्या िापरतो ,मेहनत करतो. पि जर
तमु्हाला यशस्िी व्हायचचे तर तमु्ही होऊ शकता.पि यासाठी तमु्हाला तमुच्या
यशा कडे जाण्याचा मागय कठीि आह े याची जािीि ठेिािी लागले.नसुत े मी
यशस्िी होिार,मी खपू मोठ्या प्रमािात पसैा कमििार असे म्हिनू चालिार

जेव्हा तमु्ही यशस्िी होण्याच ेठरविता तेव्हा तमु्हाला तमुची विचारसरिी बदलािी
लागले.तमु्हाला यशाकडे नेिारे विचार करािे लागतील,तमु्हाला तमुच्या मध्ये
काही बदल घडिािे लागतील. जेव्हा तमु्ही विचार सरिी बदलाल तवे्हा
जीिनामध्ये यश वमळविण्या पासनू तमु्हाला कोिीही रोख ू शकत नाही.
तमुच्या विचार सरिी मध्ये बदल करण्यासाठी तमु्हाला प्रथम तमुच्या आयषु्याच े
ध्येय काय आह े ह े ठरिािे लागले ि ते ध्येय वकती वदिसात साध्य करायच े ह े
