2017 Feast of Tabernacles
2017
Feast of Tabernacles
1
Warmest Greetings to You!
We extend a warm welcome as you join us for the 2017 Feast of
Tabernacles! Our goal at Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry is to be true
to the Word and to honor Yahweh in every way. We are glad that you
share these same desires. Finding those who are sincere in following
and obeying Yahweh in all things is like discovering a jewel in the
sand, but much more precious.
The Feast is a time to
focus on Yahweh and enjoy
the fellowship of brethren. To
get the most spiritually out of
the Feast, we will have several
services and Bible workshops
scheduled. We will have
children’s and youth classes
throughout the Feast as well.
Plenty of time will be allowed for fellowship, study,
relaxation, and recreation. The young and young at heart should have
a great time with all that the Ministry offers. In Leviticus 23:40
Yahweh commands us to rejoice at His Feast, and we plan to do just
that!
During the Bible workshops, courtesy is to be exercised, and
each should come with a humble attitude that we are all still learning
about Yahweh and His ways for us.
Baptism into Yahshua’s Name is an important step that
True Worshipers are to take, John 3:5. Being immersed at the
Feast among believers makes the occasion that much more
memorable. We will set aside time to counsel those seeking
immersion. A baptismal service is scheduled toward the end of
the Feast. Those seeking immersion or counseling must see
Deacon Terry O’Neal to schedule counseling.
2
Guidelines for a Great Feast
We want everyone to have a memorable Feast. Therefore we have
established the following guidelines to ensure proper order for
everyone’s enjoyment and edification. Foremost, we are here to learn
of Yahweh’s will for us. For this reason we encourage all to attend
the worship services along with the scheduled Bible workshops.
Yahweh is always top priority.
All speakers and moderators have been pre-selected. We do,
however, invite brethren to be involved in other ways in the services.
Please give the speakers your utmost attention and afford them the
courtesy of not interrupting during their messages. If you have a
question about the message you may ask it of the speaker after
services. Also, try to remain seated during services. If you must get
up during the service we ask that you do so quietly and in a non-
disruptive manner. Please instruct your children to do the same.
Dress Code
To ensure proper respect during
worship times, we request that
men and boys wear dress or
collar shirts and pants. Women
and young ladies should wear
dresses, skirts that cover the
knee or dress pants. If you do
not have this attire for worship
please come in your best. At all
times, please avoid immodest
shorts, sleeveless, tight or low-cut clothing. This includes modesty in
the communal bathrooms.
Also, women and young ladies should cover their heads
during worship (1Cor. 11:6) and men are to leave their heads
uncovered (1Cor. 11:7). This includes both formal Bible workshops
and services.
3
Be Respectful
This Feast is sponsored by YRM. If you have doctrinal differences
from our statement of beliefs, we ask that you discuss them only with
YRM ministers and not go around privately to others, including in
private Bible studies away from the grounds. This request is to
maintain sound doctrine and spiritual unity throughout the Feast.
High Days and Sabbath
We ask that all Feast-goers, adults and
children alike, respect the High Days and
weekly Sabbath by remembering that
these are times of rest and spiritual
fellowship, Exodus 20:8-11; Isaiah
58:13. Cooking or baking in the kitchen
or roasting over campfires on these days
is prohibited, Exodus 16:23. In addition, no organized sports or hard
play is permitted, including for children, on High Days and the
Sabbath. The gym will also be closed during these times.
Parental Responsibilities
It is important that the young people have a great time at the Feast
and build wonderful memories of obeying Yahweh at His special
time. To ensure safety and order, parents should have their children
under control and know of their whereabouts at all times.
Children’s and Youth Classes
Children’s classes will be available to children ages 3-7 and youth
classes for ages 8-12 during most services. There will also be an
open, unsupervised, nursery and playroom for mothers with children
(for ages 4 and under).
Building / Quiet Hours
The worship and fellowship hall will be open from 7:00 am – 10:00
pm. The gym will be open at certain times throughout the Feast. For
questions pertaining to the gym, see Lucas Cecil. We encourage
4
parents to ensure that there is adult supervision for all those under the
age of 12 in the gym. Also, if you are staying at YRM’s campground
and require access to the lower level communal bathrooms, please see
Debbie Wirl for a guest badge. We also request that all respect quiet
hours from 10:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Kitchen
Because the Ministry will be preparing and providing most meals,
YRM’s kitchen will not be available to individual Feastgoers. This
will include the refrigerators and freezers. If you plan to prepare food
for the few times YRM will not be providing meals, you will need to
bring your own equipment (e.g. camp strove) with a personal cooler
or refrigerator (an ice machine is located in YRM’s kitchen). There
are also many nearby restaurants in Holts Summit and Jefferson City.
Meals
YRM will be providing many group
meals throughout the Feast, including a
youth dinner (prepared and served by
the youth) and the men’s BBQ (prepared
and served by the men). There will also
be a daily continental breakfast with
waffles available on the non-Sabbaths
(High days). For a complete listing of
meals, see schedule on pp. 9-10. Also,
please avoid bringing food or drink into the worship hall.
Volunteers
For those who volunteered at registration, please see your assigned
tasks on the volunteer sheet near the entrances of the fellowship hall.
It’s important to be punctual and complete all assigned tasks. If you
are scheduled to volunteer, but find yourself unable, or would like to
volunteer, please see Deacons Steve Reed or Terry O’Neal. If it
involves meal preparation, see Jennifer Folliard. For questions
pertaining to clean-up, see Dreama Simmons or Lendia Ball.
5
Campfire
There will be a nightly campfire @ 9 pm behind the meeting hall. We
ask that children are supervised by an adult and that they refrain from
placing wood in the fire.
Alcohol
While Scripture permits alcohol at the Feast of Tabernacles (Deut.
14:26), abuse will not be tolerated. Alcohol must be placed into cups
and not be brought inside into YRM facilities.
Electronic Equipment and Musical Instruments
Remind your children that all electronic and musical equipment,
including shofars, are expensive and fragile and are off limits to
everyone but the technicians and musicians. For assistance, please see
Randy Dimmett or Ryan Mansager.
Special Music/Offerings
If you desire to offer praise, we encourage you to honor Yahweh with
your gift during the times for special offerings. Please follow the
guidelines below: (1) Use the sacred Names Yahweh and Yahshua
and refrain from using the common titles. (2) Offerings are for songs
and poems only. (3) Limit your offering to no more than six minutes.
Pets
Pets are permitted at the Feast. However, owners
must ensure that their pets do not become a
nuisance, including excessive barking, and must
be leashed when outside. Owners must clean
up after their pets. Also, pets are not allowed
in YRM facilities, unless owners have
received pre-approval by the ministry.

“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of
this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven
days unto Yahweh. On the first day shall be an holy
convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. Seven days ye
shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahweh: on the eighth
day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an
offering made by fire unto Yahweh: it is a solemn assembly;
and ye shall do no servile work therein.”
Leviticus 23:34-36
