The knowledge you need
Sponsor time commitment...Below is an outline of the work/commitment required from a sponsor to fulfill its obligation under an M3P.
Administration: an accessible point of contact would need to be made available to FDAnews for organizing schedules/meetings, coordinating authors and the FDAnews editorial team and making sure all deliverables are on deadline (Time: ongoing: time estimated @ 1 hr per wk).
Marketing: Sponsors website would need to point traffic to the microsite. Also, references should be made to the site in all marcom materials. (Time: 1 hr per wk).
Conferences: Sponsors need to be available for a conference call each quarter to discuss format/speakers/venue for the quarterly event (Time: 2 hr per qtr).
Resource Centre: Sponsors need to make available white papers and conference presentations (that will be turned into white papers) for loading into the resource centre on the site. (Time: 1 hr per qtr).
Editorial: AtE – be able to answer questions posed by users within 48 hrs Quarterly report – help write and pull together information/content for the report (Time: 10 hrs per qtr) News – FDAnews would contribute the news stories to the site with any help from sponsor welcome (i.e., general
information or knowledge gained by you during the course of your work) (Time: ½ hr per month) Podcast/videocast – be available to give short 5-7 minute interviews on an as needed basis (Time: 1 hr per interview
– maximum 2 per month) Surveys – review surveys generated by FDAnews and suggest topics/questions (Time: ½ hr per survey – maximum
one per month)
To also be available for a 2 hr conference call (to incorporate the conference discussion) during the first week of every quarter –time to be set to accommodate schedules.
