The students of these courses are adults, mainly professionals working in the agrofood sector.

To a lesser extent, agricultural engineers and university graduates in agro-food related studies.

Both targets are very interested in the elearning contents offered.

•  More than 2,500 professionals of the rural sector have been trained since the launching of this project in 2002

•  Results show the success of our own pedagogical model: over 75% pass the training successfully

•  In 2006 FAD had 41 virtual training classrooms and 11 tutor teachers

•  At the end of 2007 FAD will offer 13 online courses

•  Lifelong learning promotes the development of knowledge and competences that will enable each citizen to adapt to the knowledge-based society and actively participate in all spheres of social and economic life, taking more control of his or her future.
