1. In a suitable stainless steel tank equipped with a lightening type propeller mixeralong with side sweep action, sprinkle item 3 into item 1. Mix until homogeneous.2. Then add items 2 and 4 in Part 1, and heat to 75°C.3. In Part 2, mix ingredients together until uniform and heat to 70°C.4. Add Part 2 to Part 1 under homogenization, mixing until emulsion is formed.5. At 50°C add Part 3 to Parts 1 and 2 under propeller mixing.6. Then add Part 4 to Parts 1, 2 and 3.7. Switch over to sweep mixing.8. Continue mixing and cooling product gradually until 29-30°C.9. This high SPF sprayable sunscreen uses physical sunscreens which areconsidered less irritating than organic sunscreens. This sunscreen formula usesKobo's Zinc Oxide Dispersion, TNPB80MZCM-G and Non-Nano Titanium DioxideDispersion, HBP45TEL, for UVA/UVB protection. Kobo's SunBoost ATB™ is abooster to help increase the SPF/PFA values.

*Use explosion-proof mixers and equipment during batching process.*1. Combine Part 1 ingredients into main tank and homogenize for 5 minutes.2. Add Part 2 to Part 1 and homogenize for 5 minutes.3. In a side container using propeller agitation, mix Part 3 ingredients until solution ishomogenous and clear.4. Add Part 3 slowly to main tank under homogenization and mix for 5 minutes.5. This thin viscosity sunscreen features Kobo's TiO2 dispersion HBP50VMTS,which contains Butyloctyl Salicylate, a booster to help increase SPF. Kobo's zincoxide dispersion, CMX80MZCM is used for excellent slip and spreading. Thissunscreen contains Composite ACT-50, a powder containing dispersedattenuation grade TiO2 entrapped within a micron size polymer matrix. In thecomposite the optical properties of the titanium dioxide are maintained plus animproved skin feel during application is obtainable. SunBoost ATB™, a proprietaryratio of anti-oxidants, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory agents, also helps boostSPF. SS4230 gives enhanced skin feel during application, SF1528 is an excellentW/O emulsifier and SFE839 helps the formula to dry down to a silky, powdery feel.

This formula contains 4% Butyloctyl Salicylate.

This Sunscreen features Kobo's HBP50VMTS and HBTN65HP1, TiO2 and ZnOdispersions to achieve SPF with UVA balanced protection. INBP Dispersions areare pigmentary dispersions that can improve wear and formula aesthetics, andease the manufacturing process. They are available in many different colors, andin this formulation, along with KTZ® Moss, will provide a greenish color toneutralize redness of blemished skin. MSS-500/3H is a porous silica microsphere,that offers a matte effect and a dry touch. EA-209 is another microsphere thatimproves skin feel and provides soft focus effect. SALACOS® 99 is a light esterthat can improve skin feel.

This Liquid Foundation formula contains Kobo's Titanium Dioxide DispersionTNP50T7 to help achieve SPF, while Kobo's FAS Pigmentary Dispersions aid inproviding coverage. They showcase the versatility of TTB treated pigments in thedispersions which perform well here in a silicone phase. MSS-500W givesexcellent application and soft focus. SF1202 gives playtime and helps with feel.

TNP50T7-ATB is an optimized mixture of a TiO2 sunscreen dispersion with SunBoostATB™, that is a proprietary blend of antioxidants, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory agents. This combination can provide up to 4.55 SPF units for eachpercent of TiO2 in sunscreen formulas.

Kobo's pigmentary dispersion, W60BBNFAP-O, is usedin combination with Composite ACCB-33 to provide a deep black shade and film-forming properties.

Definitions

The skin is made up of three layers. The deepest layer is called the dermis. When this layer is broken, the body naturally produces collagen fibers as part of the repair process. Their composition and appearance differ from normal skin, with no hairs or sweat glands.

Scar gels help improving or reducing the appearance of scars after an injury or surgery. They soak into the skin to form a shield over the scar.

A scar gel has to fill 4 different criteria for optimal effectiveness : Moisture – smoothens the skin and provides pliability and flexibility Oxygen – permeable to air to let skin breathe Protection – forms a hypoallergenic protective film Warmth – increases collagenolysis (breakdown of fibrous collagen)

Besides the fact that silicones gather all four properties, they absorb faster and more efficiently into the skin, delivering scar removal products more successfully. They also improve the texture and are more substantive and therefore more durable on skin than similar creams.
