    Ferguson receivers support recording on external hard disk drives (HDDs) and flashmemories (pendrives). n all instances! the correct operation of the recording functiondepends on the t"pe of connected memor"# $ou must read the follo%ing limitations.

To ensure sta+le recording and pla"+ack! you must use amemory with a recording speed of 9 MB"s or greater.     n order to check the correctness of connection of external eEuipment! for example a terrestrialantenna! read the installation manual or hire a professional technician#

    ;ood reception is conditional on the precise placement of theantenna. 1ven the +est antenna %ill cause reception pro+lems if it is

    incorrectl" ad,usted. 1ven slight placement errors ma" renderreception impossi+le or considera+l" impair image3sound Eualit".efore installation make sure that the location is suita+le. Theproper direction ma" +e initiall" determined +" making acomparison %ith other antennas. There should +e no o+,ectsdirectl" in front of the antenna! for these ma" +lock the signal fromreaching the +o%l# -nce "ou select an optimal location for theantenna! fix and ad,ust it initiall"! and then proceed to a precisead,ustment. 1ach antenna is fitted %ith regulating scre%s that makeit possi+le to correct its vertical and horiontal placement.

    Ad,usting is some%hat more difficult in the case of digital tuners. $ou cannot performad,ustments on the +asis of the image! +ecause this appears %ith a certain dela". 6hat is more!

    the indicators availa+le in the settings menu also act %ith a dela"! and therefore ad,ustmentma" take considera+le time and +e ver" imprecise. An antenna signal meter %ill +eindispensa+le for setting up the antenna. The meter must +e connected to the antenna ca+le+et%een the antenna and the receiver. 6e strongl" recommend hiring a professional technician#

    /. n order to terminate recording! press the '%&. +utton andconfirm "our decision.

    (eep in mind that during recording, the information bar may be hidden by means of the

    EXIT  button. In order to restore the bar, press REC  again.
