One of the great challenges of our faith is

that the cross has two directions: vertical

and horizontal. Many religions stress the

vertical-God and me. While that is

important, we also emphasize that each of

us has a relationship with our brothers and

sisters. St. Paul explains to the Corinthians

in today’s second reading that is not all

there is. Each of them (and us) has a

responsibility to share the reconciliation we

have received with others. This is the proof

of how deep our faith is.

Uno de los grandes desafíos de nuestra fe

es que la cruz tiene dos direcciones:

vertical y horizontal. Muchas religiones

hacen hincapié en el Dios vertical y en mí.

Si bien eso es importante, también

enfatizamos que cada uno de nosotros

tiene una relación con nuestros hermanos

y hermanas. San Pablo explica a los

corintios en la segunda lectura de hoy, es

decir, no es todo lo que hay. Cada uno de

ellos (y nosotros) tiene la responsabilidad

de compartir la reconciliación que hemos

recibido con los demás. Esta es la prueba

de que tan profunda es nuestra fe.

El Padre Miguel estara en el retiro de sacerdotes esta semana / misa de crisma esta semana. El horario regular de misa se celebrará los lunes, jueves y viernes. Habrá servicios de comunión el martes y miércoles en el horario regular de misas.

Receivers First Confession + Prayer Exam Our Receiver’s First Confession is Saturday, April 13 from 9am-12pm. Receivers will make their first Confessions. Be sure they know their Act of Contrition and review how to go to Confession before they come on Saturday. All Receivers will be tested on their sign of the cross, Hail Mary, Our Father, and Glory Be. All Receiver must know prayers to receive their Fist Communion.
