Configuration Pain Points

– User guides are long and often don’t contain thorough configuration samples.

– Tech notes and VRDs must be translated to match your network topology. Configuration options and values are static.

– Tech notes expect a certain level of knowledge.

– User missing a “hidden” configuration step.

– KB articles, white papers, and tech notes get outdated.

– Configuration applied from going through a tech note can not be reverted. There are no “undo” steps.

– Limited community involvement.

– Use rich text if contain graphical instructions.

– Use (#nonconfigvar #) tag to,– Change the order of the questions.– Get user input for controlling the flow of codes block.

– Use annotations to illustrate the GUI based device configuration.
