As the days begin to get cooler and the sun slowly starts to set early, shorts and sandals have begun to make their way into the back of your closet for hibernation. Though summer will tend to sneak up on us, fall is here. It’s time to cover up and shop for the essentials for the up-coming season.
One beauty trend that seems to help our bodies transition into the cold winter, shea but-ter sugar scrubs. By using sugar scrubs, it lightly exfoli-ates the skin, helping retain the skins natural moisturize minimizing dryness.
The face is a delicate area that also needs a lot of ten-der loving care as winter ap-proaches. See our 7 Beauty Trends later in this issue for more tips on how to hydrate your face.
Fashion trend that’s visible throughout Fall Fashion 2014
is solid color with a touch of pattern. The contrast of a bold pattern piece mixed with a solid color palette of black and olive. The look to aim for is skinny jeans paired with a party tank, pilot jacket and patterned boots.
Always remember that the best look is the one that makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. Don’t make yourself a slave to fashion at the sacrifice of what suits you best. As Coco Chanel herself so eloquently stated, “Fashion fades; only style re-mains the same.” And wear-ing clothes that fit and flatter is always in style.”
Nothing isImpossibleLive your life the way you want, how you want, no matter what with no regrets.

Having unruly hair can be irritating. Here’s a little tip for how to deal with your Curly Hair Nightmare.• Shampoo your hair, use your fingers to massage your scalp then rinse with warm water.• Leave Conditioner in for 1-2 minutes. Comb out knots while the conditioner is still in your hair. • Towel Dry. • While damp, add a dime size of Lus-ter’s Pink Lotion. Depending on how long your hair is, add small amounts. Don’t overdue it since you don’t want your hair too greasy. Comb hair.• Wrap hair in a bun and let it dry. Don’t want to wait, then use a blow dryer on a low setting to dry hair.• Use a Rat Tail comb with your flat iron, combing through your hair while using the flat iron at the same time. Take sec-tions that can fit the ceramic plate so your hair doesn’t get caught. Now you have soft, straightened, man-ageable hair.
