ISSUE 10 | TERM 2 | WEEK 6 | 29 MAY 2017 IMPORTANT DATES * Denotes importance Amazing Race On Monday 22 May all Year 7 students participated in an exciting approach to learning hosted by Solid Mob, ‘The Amazing Race to Happy’. This hands on game mirrors similar features to the TV show where teams have to travel gaining clues along the way to gain points. Solid Mob set up eight stations within the school where students had to solve problems and gain clues for team points. Every activity had a purpose to teach about good healthy habits or the dangers of drugs and alcohol. At the conclusion of the game Solid Mob spoke to all students about the dangers of drugs and in particular smoking. The Amazing Race to Happy was a fantastic way to learn health concepts and six teams won prizes consisting of footballs, netballs, lunchboxes and hats Keep up to date with the latest announcements and events happening at Kingscliff High School.
