Where can I study You can study with NEBOSH accredited Learning Partners.

How long does it take? The course takes 18 hours (3 days, when being delivered in a training room).

Who is the course aimed at? The course is aimed at anyone who needs an awareness of health and safety. It’s relevant to anyone, any business, in any location. Safety Simplified is an ideal introduction to health and safety.

What will this do for me? After completing Safety Simplified, you will:• Understand why you need to manage health and safety• Recognise common workplace hazards• Know how to do basic health and safety risk assessments and put in

place realistic control measures• Be able to help your employer comply with the law and good practice

and avoid the huge impact of incidents and ill- health.• Understand how to help prevent incidents from recurring• Appreciate the benefits of checking your workplace and systems using

inspections and audits.

Where can I get the Augmented Reality App?

The app can downloaded from the Google Playstore and Apple App Store (date to be confirmed).

Is this a regulated qualification like the NEBOSH Certificates?

No, this is not a regulated qualification. It’s a training course but it is still created by NEBOSH, so you can expect the same top quality that our brand is famous for.

What is the difference between NEBOSH and the NEBOSH Training Ltd?

NEBOSH training LTD is a subsidiary business wholly owned by NEBOSH.

Are there any eLearning options? So far, we’ve just produced a class-room training course. But an eLearning version is planned for 2020 (date to be confirmed).

Do my Learners have to use your workbook?

No, you don’t have to use our workbook or training resources if you don’t want to. But it is by far the quickest and easiest way to get started. When you decide to run the course, we’ll ask you to let us know whether you’ll be using our workbook or doing your own thing. But if you are going to use our workbook, then you must buy one for each of your learners. We can provide the workbook either digitally (ePub) or printed.

How do I become accredited to run this course?

All Learning Partners will be given free automatic accreditation for Safety Simplified, so you don’t have to apply.

Will it be advertised on the ‘Where to study’ section of the NEBOSH website?

Yes. It will work as normal – so you can find it on the NEBOSH ‘Where to study’ and ‘Find a Learning Partner sections.

How much notice do I need to give to book the training?

You don’t need to tell us in advance that you’re running a course. You only need to tell us when you are ready to load the assessment results into our system, which will be during or after the course. If you are planning to use printed books, you’ll need to make sure you leave enough time for delivery.

How long does it take to get my results and certificate?

Results are marked by the Learning Partners and once submitted onto our system (Exam track) you will receive certificates within 48 hours.

How does the rebate scheme work?

The rebate scheme gives a volume discount for hard copy workbooks. Every October we’ll review your purchases and we’ll give you a rebate depending on how many workbooks you’ve bought over the previous year.
