• Traditional fantasies include a ‘hero’ or a ‘group of heroes’ who must endure a ‘quest' of some sort to acquire a form of reward. However during †his quest there will be a complication which slows the pace which the heroes must overcome, Commonly with a battle.

• Many fantasies include mythical beings such as dwarfs, dragons, goblins, knight.

• Main characters usually come from common backgrounds such as small villages or country house.
