QUESTIONS

• WHAT ARE THE "FANGIRLS" AND WHAT DO WE/YOU CALL "FANGIRLING"?

• DO "FANGIRLING" HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH SOME MENTAL ILLNESS?

• IS IT CORRECT TO CALL THEM CRAZY?

Page 4: Fangirls

Now days when someone says “fangirl” or “fangirling” the first word that

comes to their minds is “obsession”, that as most of them could be taken to

extreme levels such as: suicide, depression, social anxiety, isolation, or less

harmful but worrying: fantasying (confusing reality with fiction, daydreaming,

etc). those are things make people change the word “obsession” for “mental

disorder”, which shows that this has been taken too far.

the objective of this research/presentation is to let people see that the

“fangirls” don’t have a kind of mental illness, they do not live in their own

world, they are not aliens and they do not only understand each other just

because no one wants to understand them.

HYPOTHESIS

Page 9: Fangirls

The best way to recognize a person suffering from this disease must do the following:You dress up as a celebrity, then you go to a place where there are many girls (teens) and they'll throw themselves at you until they realize it's a costume and kick/ hit you for it.This doesn't have a cure, and if so, I don't know about it.

EXTERNAL OPINION

Page 10: Fangirls

What happens in the brain is that a hormone called dopamine se emits and produces joyful and happiness

sensations; shivers, goosebumps, lots of pleasure and screams. The girls are

not crazy, they are just exited.

The truth is, our brains are actually pretty dumb, and any

sudden, strong emotion – from happiness to relief to stress –

can elicit these vulnerable physical reactions.

Scientific name for Fangirlor Fanboy is “FANO
