The Shop HistoryThe family butcher business opened in 1996 by Tim and his father in law with just one member of staff in Wellington, Somerset. The company, Tim Potter, Son & Daughter Ltd has evolved into a highly successful, award-winning business and is now one of the best-known butchers in the South West.

The Family BusinessTim Potter’s thriving brand has grown through their excellent customer service and constant commitment to making the best quality meat available at affordable and realistic prices. Tim’s business is very much a family affair and he’s extremely proud to have his wife Pam, son Chris and daughter, Katie working with him. There are also nine full-time butchers to service the needs of the busy Fore Street shop as well as growing the catering sector of his Catering Butchers business, providing top quality meat to restaurants, schools and care homes throughout the local area.
