False Claim of Similarities Between islam and hinduism

REPLY TO THE FALSE CLAIM OF SIMILARITIES BETWEEN HINDU AND MUSLIM.

Once a Hindu visited the dargah of Ajmer Sharif & found some similarities in

his religion.

Instead of explaining him, a Muslim brother due to lack of his knowledge,

created a mail comparing some pictures & giving some unrelated references

& proved his jahalat.

The innocent net users forwarded it without verifying & were trapped in

major sin of accusing others with shirk.

We shall now share his email highlighted in YELLOW & also provide

answers to the false claims.

ANS- This is a false claim, if the above claim is true then they should also

apply fatwa of shirk on

King Abdullah-the current king of Saudi (see the image below).

CLAIM 1- Hindus worship idols/ Muslims worship graves.

But for sure the claim is false, even a lunatic of Muslim doesn’t worship

anyone other than Allah because Muhammad s.a.w has clearly said that he

is not afraid of us worshipping other than Allah.

Reference-

Narrated 'Uqba bin 'Amir: The Prophet went out and offered the funeral prayer for the martyrs of the (battle of) Uhud and then ascended the pulpit and said, "I am your predecessor and I am a witness against you. By Allah, I am now looking at my Tank-lake (Al-Kauthar) and I have been given the keys of the treasures of the earth (or the keys

of the earth). By Allah! I am not afraid that after me you will worship others besides Allah, but I am afraid that you will start competing for (the pleasures of) this world."

(Bukhari, volume 8, book 76, Number 434)

Note: This reference itself should be enough to prove that the claims are

false, but just to make it crystal clear we shall answer it further.

ANS A- Incense sticks/loban is used as scent & has nothing to do with

shirk or even with any particular religion. Arabs also use OUD a lot.

CLAIM 2- Hindus & Muslims use incense sticks/ laban & also put flowers on graves.

ANS B- if the person knew who has prescribed plants/flowers & the amount

of benefits of keeping it on the graves, he would never have compared it.

As indicated by Saudi Arabian Sunni Islamic Scholar Shaykh As-Sayyid

Muhammad ibn `Alawi al-Maliki of Mecca al-Mukarramah

Reference- Narrated Ibn Abbas:

The Prophet once passed by two graves, and those two persons (in the graves) were being tortured. He said, "They are being tortured not for a great thing (to avoid). One of them never saved himself from being soiled

with his urine, while the other was going about with calumnies (to make enmity between friends). He then took a green leaf of a date-palm tree split it into two pieces and fixed one on each grave. The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Why have you done so?" He replied, "I hope that their

punishment may be lessened till they (the leaf) become dry." (Bukhari, Volume2, Book 23, Number 443)

NOTE: PLEASE BE CAREFULL BEFORE ACCUSING ANY SUNNAT.

ANS - We also have sheikhs, imams, and maulanas in masjids

But he forgets all of them in his comparison.

CLAIM 3- pundit sit in mandir/ khadim sit at dargah.

ANS – but then he forgets the HAJJ, the largest gathering of Muslims

in his comparison.

May be he is not aware of it.

CLAIM 4- Hindus have yatras/Muslims have urs every year.

Note: if we use this standard of comparing religion then we will have

thousands of examples like it. Few are mentioned below.

1. Hindus circumbate around tree. 1. Muslims circumbate around Kaaba.

2. Hindus do Bali (sacrifice animal). 2. Muslims do Qurbaani.

3. Hindus think going to tirupati cleans their sins.

3. Muslims know going to hajj cleans sins.

& so on……

This is not the way Muhammad s.a.w showed us to do DAWAH, Muslim

speaks with proof. Shame on such a Muslim who uses the Hindus way to

prove his point. May Allah protect us from such satanic thoughts.

That’s not all, he gets more crazier….

Further with his evil ideas he tries to imply the verses of Quran and

hadis on Muslims, which were actually revealed for mushriks &

disbelievers(Astagfirullah). Let’s see some of the false quotes & their

answers.

ANS A- it is proved earlier that no Muslim worships other than Allah. The above

verse is for mushriks of Kaaba who had taken idol(boots/statues) as their protectors & would lie that they believe in Allah, on which Allah says in same verse ‘Allah guides not him who is a liar’.

Verily Allah has forbidden us from taking idols & disbelievers as our

protectors (wali).

REF. 1 - O you who believe! Take not for 'Auliya' (protectors or helpers or friends) disbelievers instead of

believers. Do you wish to offer Allah a manifest proof against yourselves? (QURAN 4:144)

REF. 2 – QURAN 4:119, 4:139, 5:51, 60:1, 9:23 etc

QUOTE 1- Muslims worship awliya to get closer to allah.

ANS B- And it is Allah who tells/commands us to take the believers as our

protectors/wali.

REF. 1 - Verily, your Walî (Protector or Helper) is Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, - those who perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, and they bow down (submit themselves with obedience to Allah in prayer). (QURAN 5:55)

REF. 2 - QURAN 9:71, 4:144, 8:73 etc.

Note: the above references proves that Allah commands us to take believers as protectors & an example of how this misguided people apply wrong verses on the believers.

ANS – The famous Quran translator ABDULLAH YUSUF ALI clears it

very well in his translation.

QURAN 16:20- Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created.

QURAN 16:21- (They are things) dead, lifeless: nor do they know when they will be raised up.

Note: the above translation requires no further explanation that this verse is

for THINGS & not for PROPHETS & SAINTS. Verily Quran confirms “and

say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Nay,

they are living, though ye perceive (it) not. Quran 2:154)”.

QUOTE 2- These verses are regarding prophets & saints.

ANS A – This verse was clearly revealed for non-Muslims who worship their

prophets as god, like Christians worship Jesus as god.

THIS IS THE VERY BEST EXAMPLE OF HOW THIS MISGUIDED PEOPLE

APPLY THE VERSES OF NON- MUSLIMS ONTO THE INNOCENT

MUSLIMS(MAZALLAH).

Verily there passed a group called KHWARJITES.

"Ibn Umar R.A considered the Khawarij and the heretics as the worst beings in creation, and he said:

They went to verses which were revealed about the disbelievers and applied them to the

Believers.

Bukhari Chapter Khawarjites

Ibn Hajr al Asqalani (rah) said in Fath ul Bari: That its sanad is sahih

QUOTE 3- Muslims take graves of prophets/saints as place of worship.

ANS B – verily Muhammad s.a.w warned us of such people accusing

other momins with shirk.

REF. 1 - Hudhaifa i.e. Ibn al Yaman (ra) said that the Prophet (saw) said: Verily, I fear about a man from you

who will read the Qur'an so much that his face will become enlightened and he will come to personify Islam.

This will continue until Allah desires. Then these things will be taken away from him when he will disregard

them by putting them all behind his back and will attack his neighbor with the sword accusing him

of Shirk. The Prophet was asked - which of the two will be deserving of such an accusation? - The attacker

or the attacked? The Prophet replied - the attacker (the one accusing the other of Shirk)

[Narrated by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih, Tahqiq Nasir Albani, Volume 001, Page No. 200, Hadith Number 81]

Wahabi scholar Nasir Albani said: 'this hadith is hasan' also see [Silsilat al-ahadith al-sahihah - Albani Volume

007-A, Page No. 605, Hadith Number 3201].

ANS C – verily if you study about khwarjites, you will find all their qualities

in this misguided people. The khwarjites believed that they are the only

followers of Tawheed, & accused ALI R.A with SHIRK(mazallah). When

the matter was explained to khwarjites, only few who repent were forgiven

& all the others were expelled out of Islam.

Hence all those who have been in link with the original

mail either in composing or in forwarding shall seek

forgiveness at the earliest possible & also send this

REPLY to whomsoever you might have sent the original

mail.

AS ACCUSING EVEN A SINGLE RIGHTEOS MUSLIM WITH SHIRK

MIGHT TAKE YOU OUT OF ISLAM.

May Allah keep us on right path & protect us from any disrespect of

his prophets & his righteous servants.
