Unlike traditional systems, the Circle.Tech filtering unit works horizontally rather than vertically. The expelled air is conveyed through the filter surrounding the motor. Due to its circular shape, the filtering surface achieves excellent performance in terms of extraction capacity achieving up to 86% odour reduction. The even distribution of expelled air reduces turbulence, consequently the system is extremely quiet.

Charcoal and ZeoliteThe exclusive Carbon.Zeo combined filter by Falmec uses materials of natural origin such as zeolite and activated charcoal. It can retain odours with the utmost effectiveness achieving up to 86% odour reduction.

Activated charcoalActivated charcoal mainly contains carbon in the form of microcrystalline graphite, which has been processed in order to obtain a porous material with a large internal surface area. These characteristics allow it to retain odour substances by trapping their molecules and absorbing them into its internal structure.

ZeoliteZeolite is a mineral characterised by a high absorption capacity of organic compounds and water vapour. This characteristic is the direct consequence of its microporous crystalline structure. Zeolite can also reduce moisture by releasing heat when humidity rises, thanks to its chemical structure. The use of zeolite is therefore very important to reduce odours, as well as to absorb moisture produced by cooking.

Long lifeThe combined Carbon.Zeo filter has a long life: approximately 3 years with regular use. In addition the filter can be regenerated every 18 months, by placing it in the oven at a temperature of 200°C for two hours. The filter must be replaced after three years.

Ionisation Technology

Carbon.Zeo recirculation filter

The Carbon.Zeo filter is a specialised

recirculation filter that combines

Carbon and Zeolite to purify the air;

Carbon neutralises cooking odours

and Zeolite absorbs the moisture. The

long life filter can be regenerate to

last up to 3 years. To regenerate, place

the filter cartridges in the oven at

200°c for 2 hours. The filter will need

to be regenerated after 18 months,

depending on use.

How does the E.ion system work?

Falmec’s E.ion range of extractors

offer a unique solution to cooking

odours by using ionisation

technology inside a kitchen hood.

This technology, re-balances the air’s

natural ratio of positively and

negatively charged ions to break

down odour molecules, eliminating

up to 95% of odours. The E.ion

technology also sanitises the air

destroying bacteria, spores, allergens

and cigarette smoke in the same way.

Air quality sensor

A leaf shaped sensor monitors the

quality of the air. When the air quality

drops, the leaf sensor changes from

green to yellow. Once the air is

purified the leaf will change back to

green.

Automatic mode

Activating the automatic mode allows

the extractor to constantly monitor

the air quality throughout the day.

When the sensor detects a drop in the

air quality the extractor automatically

switches on to purify the air.

Energy saving

The E-Ion extractors are more

environmentally friendly as they are

not ducted, so in winter heated air, or

cooled air in summer is not lost by

being expelled out into the

atmosphere. This also means you

have the freedom to install the

extractor anywhere in the kitchen.

The Science Behind the Silence

NRS stands for Noise Reduction System

Falmec have researched the issue of “noise”

in an extractor & interestingly a large

proportion of the noise created in a kitchen

extractor is due to the turbulence of the air

movement.

In response Falmec have developed their

NRS range which features an internal

chimney shaping whereby the air is

conveyed in the least turbulent manner to

reduce noise. They have also included

internal chimney sound deadening

material, the result is a whisper quiet

extractor.

NRS extractors can achieve up to 86% reduction in perceived noise by following a logarithmic scale. Each decrease of 1dB corresponds to a reduction in perceived noise of around 20%.

What is Quiet Mark?

Quiet Mark is the international approval award programme associated with

the UK Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation. The programme

encourages brands to offer products with noise reduction solutions.

connect with their induction hobs. There is a look to suit every

style of kitchen.

With Link Tech, the hobs have a built-in remote control option

that's integrated into the hob. This gathers information and

transmits it to the control of the cooker hood via radio frequency,

by simple use of touch control. It is possible to control the

function of the extractor directly from the Induction hob.

Link Tech is compatible with all ceiling mounted extractors, all

Gruppo Incasso models, Circle.Tech extractors and the

Panoramic hob with the Downdraft 90 surface mounted

extractor.
