SUPPORTACTIVITY

Thank you for checking out our groups offered this winter. Crossbridge Groups exist to transform lives through community and spiritual growth. This catalog will help you find ways to get connected. Our groups meet all over the Illinois Valley. We have three different categories of groups including:

Welcome!

Support groups meet to support one another during specific life events. You’ll find these groups have exact focus. We want to support you specifical-ly with what you are going through.

Grow groups gather to-gether and study a specif-ic curriculum. It could be a book of the Bible, a faith topic, or discussion revolv-ing around that week’s sermon. Some groups are more focused on study while others focus more on socializing. You will find a helpful gauge by the de-scription of each group to clarify the focus.

2

GROWActivity groups come together around a specific activity. Their focus is less on study and curriculum and more on connecting with each other through an activity.

A group listing by day can be found at the back of the catalog

Couldn’t find a group to join? Well…why not start a group?!

If there isn’t a group in this catalog for you, maybe the best thing you can do is start a group of your own. If you are in a growing relationship with Jesus and can lead a discussion with your friends - you can do this!

You have friends, and those friends probably enjoy spending time with you. Why not spend some time together talking about the message from the weekend and applying it to your life?

Here’s what you need to do: 1. Go to a Crossbrige Groups signup table. 2. Tell us you want to start a group. 3. Provide your name, e-mail and phone number.

Here’s what we will do: 1. Contact you. 2. E-mail the sermon reflection guide to you. 3. Encourage and support you along the way.

This is what we know - groups are awesome. If you can’t find a group to join, start a group. One last thing, your friends don’t even have to attend Crossbridge! They could watch the message online and still be a part of the discussion and your group.20
