As the parent/guardian of a minor participating in the City of Oakley’s Recreation Programs, Field Trip and Services, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury. This Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is intended to discharge in advance the City of Oakley, the Oakley Union School District, the Liberty Union High School District and its officers, employees, volun-teers, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with myself or my child/ward’s participation in said activity, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above. It is further agreed that this Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is to be binding on my heirs and assignees. I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages or loss that I or my minor child/ward may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with each activity. I additionally agree to indemnify the City against any claims or rights of action for dam-ages which I or the minors has/have before or after they reach age of majority. I further agree that certain marketable information may be used in accordance with State Laws and regulations. Such items include: e-mail addresses, photos and press releases that include statements made by myself or my child/ward in publication of said activities. In the event of any emergency, I authorize City Officials to secure from any licensed hospital, physician, and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for my minor child’s immedi-ate and emergency care if it be deemed to sustain life. I also agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered.

Lego Camp is the place to be to have fun during fall break! You will see old friends and make new ones as you build with a huge, expertly sorted Lego collection. You will win a prize and may even take home a trophy at this weeklong camp. Mr. Pitter is a Lego expert who will have lots of fun activities for you. Babysitting is not just watching children for money. It is being responsible for their safety and well-being. This course covers safety issues, behavioral issues, how to entertain, and have fun with the children. All students will receive a two-year certification card from the American Safety and Health Institute and a reference book. This course will focus on setting up your new babysitting business, safety and emergency response, diapering, feeding, bedtime, playtime, interacting with the parents, and more! Bring a lunch and a drink with you to class.

This dynamic and innovative class of exciting leaps and turns builds confidence while students learn diverse dance styles including lyrical, modern, and ballet. This class is designed for first-time and experienced players alike. Kids will be grouped based on skill level. Appropriate Quick Start Tennis Equipment will be used to ensure the success of each child. Biddy Sports is like no other program! Boys and girls ages 3 – 5 years, will learn the fundamentals of soccer and develop social skills in a fun, safe, and family-oriented environment. The class provides a non-competitive introduction to team sports where children can participate at their own level and

ability without keeping score. Each one-hour class includes a fun group warm-up, practicing with their team, and playing a game. Parents get involved by volunteering to coach their child’s team. All train-ing is provided and no experience is required. The coach’s training meeting will be held on September 14, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. and you can volunteer when you register your child. Are you tired of asking your parents and friends for a ride? Are you at least 15 years of age? If so, this class is for you! This is an interactive, online course with videos, animated driving scenarios, and sample test questions. Learn the rules of the road, major causes of traffic collisions, DMV procedures, and much more. Receive a DMV-approved Certificate of Completion which is required for teens under 17 ½ years of age in order to obtain a learner’s permit and driver’s license. Pilates is a mind/body form of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates to help build flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance with emphasis on breathing and developing a strong core. Many people will notice improved posture and flexibility after just a few weeks of practicing this method. Come learn the fundamentals of the Pilates method in a class designed to strengthen, stretch and tone you while increasing flexibility and balance from the inside out in a relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere.
