As the parent/guardian of a minor participating in the City of Oakley’s Recreation Programs, Field Trip and Services, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury. This Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is intended to discharge in advance the City of Oakley, the Oakley Union School District, the Liberty Union High School District and its officers, employees, volun-teers, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with myself or my child/ward’s participation in said activity, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above. It is further agreed that this Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is to be binding on my heirs and assignees. I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages or loss that I or my minor child/ward may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with each activity. I additionally agree to indemnify the City against any claims or rights of action for dam-ages which I or the minors has/have before or after they reach age of majority. Babysitting is not just watching children for money. It is being responsible for their safety and well-being. This course covers safety issues, behavioral issues, how to entertain, and have fun with the children. All students will receive a two-year certification card from the American Safety and Health Institute and a reference book. This course will focus on setting up your new babysitting business, safety and emergency response, diapering, feeding, bedtime, playtime, interacting with the parents, and more! Biddy Sports is like no other program! Boys and girls ages 3 – 5 years, will learn the fundamentals of soccer and develop social skills in a fun, safe, and family-oriented environment. The class provides a non-competitive introduction to team sports where children can participate at their own level and
ability without keeping score. Each one-hour class includes a fun group warm-up, practicing with their team, and playing a game. Parents get involved by volunteering to coach their child’s team. All train-ing is provided and no experience is required. The coach’s training meeting will be held on September 14, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. and you can volunteer when you register your child. Receive a DMV-approved Certificate of Completion which is required for teens under 17 ½ years of age in order to obtain a learner’s permit and driver’s license.
