Students must submit a petition for overload before they may register for more than 17.5 hours. Students are charged overload tuition for each .5 hours above 17 registered hours. Independent studies, internships, directed studies, tutorials and job shadowing experiences as well as practicums that are not on the class schedule require special forms. It is not possible to register for these types of experiences until the appropriate form has been completed and turned in to the Registrar’s Office. Students who plan to graduate in 2018 must apply for graduation no later than April 21, 2017. Students should declare their intent to graduate and submit an approved plan of study at least two semesters before they intend to complete.
