Water: H20=LifeExhibitionshowingMarch17,2012–September3,2012Water, this planet’s precious resource, plays a huge role in our lives. It
surrounds us, covering nearly three-quarters of Earth’s surface. It sustains
us as an essential component to life on Earth. And today, it challenges us
to be more conscious of its consumption. Experience water as never before
in this engaging and thought-provoking exhibition for the whole family.
Water: H2O = Life is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (www.amnh.org), and Science Museum of Minnesota (www.smm.org) in collaboration with Great Lakes Science Center, Cleveland; The Field Museum, Chicago; Instituto Sangari, São Paulo, Brazil; National Museum of Australia, Canberra; Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, Canada; San Diego Natural History Museum; and Science Centre Singapore and PUB Singapore.
LEGO Castle AdventureLimitedEngagementExhibitOpeningFall2012Builders of all ages are invited to explore, build and play in LEGO Castle
Adventure! In this exhibit, kids and their families are transported to a
LEGO kingdom where they can become master castle builders. In LEGO
Castle Adventure, visitors can build brick castles, learn about real-world
castles and their building secrets, and plan their ideal castle’s defenses.
Younger visitors can dress up in costume, joust on “horseback” and
explore the castle grounds. Older kids can build a catapult-proof wall,
then test it with our giant LEGO catapult. And visitors of all ages will enjoy
seeing giant LEGO brick models, including a mother dragon and baby!
