A note from Lorri……… Dear Shooting Stars, October is going to be one for the record books! We have fabulous new products coming out that everyone will be anxious to get their hands on, Project Runway to entice new customers, and the My Customers App to make selling even easier for you. We have a company who is very in-volved in supporting women who are victims of domestic violence and breast cancer during Breast Cancer Aware-ness and National Domestic Violence Month, so it's a great time to share about the Mary Kay Foundation. Not only do we have an amazing Double Credit Promotion so that you get double credit towards both our Court of Sales and Shar-ing, but Mary Kay is also rewarding us with the Embrace Your Dreams Bracelet for qualifying orders, star prizes for those who finish their star, and so much more. All DIQs can join us for Leadership in January, and registration starts November 1st, so it's the perfect time to hit the gas and make sure you join us. If you want a little assistance or a confidence builder, Mary Kay's got a great new Color Confident Live Event on October 27th so you'll be ready for all these holiday makeovers you'll be book-ing. It's our month to shine, so let's make it one for the rec-ord books. School's been back in session for a little while and most moms I talk to feel like they're finally starting to get in the groove. Let's make sure to make some room for your busi-ness as a part of that. Are you bringing samples of our new products to sporting events? Are you bringing your cus-tomer list with you while waiting in line to pick up the kids so you can use those few minutes to make some phone calls (or better yet, talk with the other moms that are wait-ing with you and book new selling appointments)? Oppor-tunities are all around you if you just take a moment to look for them. It's no trick on how top directors and nationals get to where they are. They work focused and invest time in their business. Then they also play hard! I know we can do that too! I know the holiday season is just starting. Sometimes that feels really exciting, and sometimes that feels a little over-whelming. If you haven't already, I hope you take a moment to plan where you want to be by the end of December.
