List of competences After completing the EPA master course, student will have the following: Knowledge of: o Applied ecology, environmental protection and natural resources o Types and sources of the agricultural land and water pollution o Agricultural production as a potential source of soil and water pollution o Biodiversity and its protection o Measures of environmental protection in all areas of agriculture o Ecological management o Economical aspects of environmental protection o Environmental legislation in our country and EU o Use of IT in environmental protection Skills of : o Environmental monitoring (auditing) in agriculture o Applying principles of sustainable agriculture o Application of good agricultural practices o Raising public ecological awareness at the municipality level o Communication and team work o Up-to-date strategic planning and management Potential employers o Agricultural and related companies o Municipality services for environmental protection o Consulting companies o Agricultural institutes o Governmental institutions o Nongovernmental organizations o Agricultural journals/newspapers o Labor market
