OVERVIEW Developing a successful legal career requires

thoughtful decisions about our job choices. Public sector lawyers confront workplace issues that

differ from private practice. The PowerPoint slides contain controversial

statements which are addressed by our panelists – Are they Fact or Fiction?? Information about the panelists is included in the first

segment of our program.

You should use the same resume each time you apply for a government

Since there is not as much competition for government jobs, there is no need

to spend a lot of time preparing for interviews.

Public sector jobs are attractive because even

junior attorneys are given major responsibility and visibility.
