Stage 1:
Cell membrane of microbes are negatively charged. As soon as they approach the protected surface, they are attracted to the positively charged Nitrogen ion in the Once-A molecule
Stage 2:
The microbe is impaled and ruptured on the Carbon-Hydrogen chain of the Once-A molecule. This process is known as LYSIS
Stage 3:
As the microbe continues to be drawn down the long chain blade, it connects with the positively charged Nitrogen ion –disrupting and destabilising the cell membrane, causing it to rupture and explode
Stage 4:
As Once-A is bound to its applied surface, it is ready to attract and destroy new bacteria as they approach the protected surface.
