Before starting this tutorial I want to thank each and every veteran for serving our country.
3. Finding Facebook
Facebook is located at the following web address:
www.facebook.com
4. Creating an Account
Fill in the blanks on the right side of the page.
Be sure to fill it in completely and honestly.
Then press the green Sign Up button.
5. Passing Security
Fill in the blank using thewords provided. If you have difficulty reading them you can click on Try different words or audio captcha.
6. Setting Up
This willbring you to step 1 of your account set-up. For this tutorials purposes we will skip to the next step by clicking on the Skip link at the bottom of the page

Thiswillbring you to step 2 of your account set-up. For this tutorials purposes we will skip to the next step by clicking on the Skip link at the bottom of the page
8. Setting Up
This willbring you to step 3 of your account set-up. For this tutorials purposes we will skip to the next step by clicking on the Skip link at the bottom of the page
9. Confirmation Email
This willbring you to yourFacebook account. Notice on the top you are prompted to check your email to finish registration.
10. Confirmation Email
Log onto your email account and you should have an emailtitled Just one more step . Open this email.
11. Confirmation Email
Click on the link provided in the email. You may have to hold the Ctrl key down when you click to open a new window.
12. Back to Facebook
This will take you back to your Facebook homepage.
13. Finding Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center
Type Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center in the search box at the top of the page.
14. Finding Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center
Click on the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center in the search results.
15. Liking Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center
Click on the Like button at the top of the page.
NOTICE ALL THE INFORMATION UNDER THE LABELED TABS!
16. Security Check
You will now be prompted to enter text as you did when creating your account.
17. Return Home
This will return you back to your homepage. If it doesnt click home in the top right corner.
18. Receiving TVAMC News Feeds
For quick updates on Tuscaloosa VA Medical Centers updates click on NewsFeeds on the left.
19. Receiving TVAMC News Feeds
Now you can finish the set-up on your Facebook profile.
The News Feeds from Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center and other pages you have liked will show up on your home page along with the status updates of your friend.
20. Logging Out
To log off of Facebook move your mouse over Account in the top right corner. A menu will appear. Click on Logout.
