FACE-TO-FACE PROCEDURES
The protocol and procedures for each day will be as
follows:(Please be advised that these procedures may be revised as
needed throughout the school year.)
FACEMASKSAll students in grades K – 12 will be required to wear
facemasks throughout the day, including during instruction.
Disposable and cloth facemasks will be available for students;
however, students are encouraged to purchase their own cloth
facemask prior to the start of the school year. Gaiter masks are
allowed. (Bandanas, shields, masks with vulgarity and/or obscene
language or images, including but not limited to skull bones or
anything, which could be considered racist or offensive, is not
allowed.) Masks do not have to match the school uniform.
ARRIVALStudents’ temperatures will be checked with an infrared
non-touch thermometer upon arrival each day. When possible, the
temperature will be taken through the car window before they exit
the vehicle. Students registering a temperature of 100.4 or higher
will not be allowed to enter campus. Parents may begin dropping off
students at 7:15 AM but no later than 7:45 AM in order to begin our
school day at 7:50 AM. Students cannot be dropped off near the
person directing traffic. All students must be dropped off as
follows:
K-3 Little Shed 4th – 7th Big Shed 8th front of the Junior High
Building Gate
*Student’s will have assigned areas to report throughout the day
(arrival, morning or afternoon break and lunch) where they will be
divided between the gym and outside.
Approved facemasks will be provided for faculty and students
when needed.
CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENTStudents will be required to sanitize their
hands upon arrival and when exiting the classroom through the use
of automatic hand-sanitizing stations in each classroom. Hand
sanitizing stations will also be available in the gym and
library.
Students’ desks will be arranged 6 ft. apart (separated as much
as possible with larger enrollment) with all desks facing the same
direction.
Teachers will have disinfectant sprays and wipes, which will be
used between each class and during instruction.

PE classes will be conducted outside (when weather allows) and
in the library. The gym will also be utilized for instruction where
students will be divided.
Static groups will move independently of other groups to allow
for social distancing in the hall during all transitions. K-8 will
be eating with their static groups alternating, on a weekly basis,
between the classroom and the cafeteria. Teachers will be moving to
teach classes in the students’ homeroom in order for the students
to remain in their homeroom classroom.
Teachers will be taking students outside for breaks and class
time when weather permits.
CHANGING OF CLASSES/LOCKERSStudents will remain in their
Homeroom class while teachers will transition to their respective
classrooms for instruction.
Students will not utilize lockers.
Students will be allowed to bring water bottles instead of
utilizing water fountains for use throughout the day.
Restrooms, hallways and the gym will be cleaned throughout the
day with the use of disinfectants and EMist Electrostatic
sprayer.
Students will be required to wear approved facemasks while in
hallways, transition to Science Lab and during pick-up at the end
of the day.
LUNCHStudents will line-up 6 ft. apart while waiting to be
served.
Students will be served lunch according to grade levels. They
will be spaced in the cafeteria in every other seat (cafeteria
accommodates for 16 students per table; however, eight students
will be seated at each table utilizing provided spacing).
DISMISSALStudents will be dismissed according to the oldest
child in elementary. We are dividing students into smaller family
pods for social distancing purposes. The siblings will meet
together in the following locations according to the oldest
sibling’s grade level.
Oldest child is in the:8th grade – Jr. High – pick up in front
of Jr. High building6th or 7th grade – Cafeteria – pick up in the
cafeteria horseshoe

4th or 5th grade – Big Shed – pick up at the big shed3rd grade –
Bus stop – pick up at bus stop gateK, 1st & 2nd – Little Shed –
pick up at little shed.
DAILY SANITATIONWe have invested in professional cleaning
materials to ensure the proper cleaning and disinfecting of the
buildings throughout the day and at the end of each day. We have
hand-sanitizing stations in all classrooms, gymnasiums, libraries,
cafeterias and all offices throughout the school. High-touch
services will be cleaned several times a day, including playground
and PE equipment. Our restrooms will be sanitized several times
throughout the day.
WATER BOTTLESStudents are encouraged to bring 2-3 bottles of
water as a means of attempting to prevent the sharing of germs at
water fountains. All elementary water fountains are shut off at
this time in order to alleviate germs being spread. Elementary
water bottles must be labeled with their name.
MASSESAs with previous years, Masses for elementary students
will be each Wednesday (with the exception of scheduled
Confessions), following the social distancing guidelines set forth
for churches by the Diocese.
ASSEMBLIESAssemblies (when needed) will be divided into
groups.
*COVID signs/procedures will be posted at the entrance and
throughout the school.
CELL PHONESAs a means of preventing the sharing of germs when
storing phones in bins, K-8 students are not allowed to bring cell
phones onto campus.
OFFICE STAFFThe main office has a permanent glass window to
serve as a divider between office staff, students and the
public.
A secluded “quarantine room” will be available near the main
office for students who are ill to remain while waiting for parents
to retrieve them. This room will be sanitized after each use.

Office staff will have disinfectant sprays and wipes, which will
be used throughout the day.
CLOSED CAMPUSCampus access will be limited to students and
school, delivery and emergency personnel. We ask that parents
please contact the office prior to reporting to campus and should
only do so in the case of an emergency. If visitors are allowed on
campus for any reason, they will be asked to wear a mask at all
times. School Mass attendance will be limited to students and
school personnel only this year.
