A few words from Tula Pink

“Many of my friends are starting to have babies and I find myself thinking of

all of the things that I wish for them as they began their lives and how I could

communicate that to them. Historically, the Bee was often used as a symbol

of wisdom and fertility and the honeycombs that they build and live in were

symbolic of the heart. This seemed like the perfect place to start when I

began drawing Bumble.

Bumble is a small collection of prints designed for the baby, or more

accurately, the mommy on behalf of the baby. High octane pastels were

placed on backdrops of dove gray to create an elegant contradiction of

whimsy and sophistication. I hope that Bumble can become a conversation

about wisdom, love and family while looking classically playful for all who find

it in their homes and cribs. Join me in celebrating Bumble and extract the

sweetness of life!”

Launch date | November 2014

About The Collection

Bumble is printed on a beautifully

the beautiful new soft 100% cotton

peached poplin new substrate

and has to be felt to be fully

appreciated. The only thing that

should touch a little ones skin is

something as soft as they are. This

fabric is perfect for baby-related

projects featuring the sweet bumble

bee design.

About The Designer

Marjolein’s fascination with nature started when she was only a few

years old in the garden of her parents’ house in Netherlands.

Her bond with nature, coupled with the urge to share it with

others, motivated Marjolein early on to start drawing.

Since the early 90s, people in the USA have taken note of Marjolein’s work.

Working with several companies in the States has opened up a new world

for Marjolein as well. Despite the enormous size of the country, Marjolein

immediately looked for the details in nature, “unknown birds, new flowers,

unfamiliar butterflies – “I had to start all over, I had to look up everything!

And now I want to share the beauty of American nature with my friends

in Holland and show people in America how beautiful Dutch nature is.”

Launch date | January 2015
