    Unplug immediately.Always transport your air conditioner in a verticalposition and stand on a stable, level surface duringuse.Turn off the product when not in use.

    Always contact a qualified person to carry outrepairs. If the power supply cord is damaged it

    must be repaired by a qualified technician.Keep a free area of at least 1 ft (30 cm) all around theunit from walls, furniture and curtains.If the air conditioner is knocked over during use,turn off the unit and unplug from the main powersupply immediately.

    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

    Be sure the electrical service is adequate for the model you have chosen. This information can be found

    on theserial plate, which is located on the side of the cabinet and behind the grille.

    Be sure the air conditioner is properly grounded. To minimize shock and fire hazards, proper grounding is

    important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock

    hazards.

    Your air conditioner must be used in a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend

    to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified

    electrician install a proper receptacle.

    Ensure the receptacle is accessible after the unit installation.

    WARNING For your safety

    Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapours and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other

    appliance.

    Operating Instructions

    - Press the MODE button until the COOLindicator light comes on.

    - Press the ADJUST buttons " " or " " toselect your desired room temperature. Thetemperature can be set within a range of

    17 C-30 C/62 F-88 F.- Press the FAN SPEED button to choose the

    fan speed.

    - Press the MODE button until the DRYindicator light comes on.

    - Under this mode, you cannot select a fanspeed or adjust the temperature. The fanmotor operates at LOW speed.

    - Keep windows and doors closed for thebest dehumidifying effect.

    - Do not connect the duct in the window.

    - When you set the air conditioner inAUTO mode, it will automatically selectcooling,or fan only operation dependingon what temperature you have selected

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

    When the unit is on, press the Timer button to start the Auto-off program. The

    indicator light illuminates. Press the UP or DOWN button to select the desired time.

    Press the TIMER button again within 5 seconds, the Auto-on program is initiated and theindicator light illuminates. Press the UP or DOWN button to select the desired

    Auto-on start time. When both timer settings have been made, both the and indicator

    The air conditioner should be placed on a firm

    foundation to minimize noise and vibration. For

    safe and secure positioning, place the unit on a

    smooth, level floor strong enough to support the unit.

    The unit has casters for easie r placement, but it should

    only be rolled on smooth, flat surfaces. Use caution

    when rolling on carpeted surfaces. Do not attempt to

    roll the unit over objects.

    The unit must be placed w ithin reach of a proper ly

    rated, grounded socket.

    Never place any obstacles around the air inlet oroutlet of the unit.

    Your window slider kit has been designed to fit most

    applications. However, it may be necessary for you toimprovise/modify some aspects of the installation

    procedures for certain types of window. Please referto Fig. 6& Fig.7 for minimum and maximum windowopenings.Window slider kit can be attached with a bolt(see Fig.7a).

    1. Cut the foam seal (adhesive type) to the properlength and attach it to the windowsill. See Fig.8

    2. Attach the window slider kit to the windowsill.

    Adjust the length of the window slider kit accordingto the width of window, shorten the adjustable windowkit if the width of window is less than 22.1 inches.

    Open the window sash and place the window sliderkit on the windowsill. Fig.9.

    3. Cut the foam seal (adhesive type) to the properlength and attach it on the top of the window kit.Se e Fig.10.

    4. Close the window sash securely against thewindow kit.

    5. Cut the foam seal to an

    appropriate length and seal the open gap

    between the topclosed window sash and outerwindow sash. See Fig.11.

    Installation in a sliding sash window

    1. Cut the foam seal A (adhesive type) to the properlength and attach it to the window frame. See Fig.12.

    2. Attach the window slider kit to the windowsill.Adjust the length of the window slider kit accordingto the width of window, shorten the adjustable windowkit if the width of window is less than 22.1 inches.Open the window sash and place the window slider

    kit on the windowsill. See Fig.13.

    3. Cut the foam seal (adhesive type) to the properlength and attach it on the top of the window kit.

    4. Close the sliding sash securely against the window kit.

    5. Cut the foam seal (non-adhesive type)

    E x h a u s t h o s e i n s t a l l a t i o n :

    The exhaust hose and adaptor must be installed or removed

    in accordance with the installation of the unit.

    The duct can be compressed or extended moderatelyaccording to the installat ion requirements, but it ispreferable to keep the duct length to a minimum.

    - During dehumidifying modes, remove the drain

    plug from the back of the unit. You can also connect

    of the hose directly over the drain area in your

    basement floor. Please refer to Fig.19 & 20.

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE

    1) Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning or servicing.2) Do not use gasoline, thinner or other chemicals to clean

    the unit.

    3) Do not wash the unit directly under a tap or using a hose.It may cause electrical shock.

    4) If the power cord is damaged, it should be repaired by

    the manufacturer or its authorized agent.

    IMPORTANT:

    1. Air filter

    - Clean the air filter at least once every two weeks to preventdust from affecting fan operation.

    This unit has three filters. Take the upper filter out in thedirection of the arrow (Fig.22).

    -

    Wash the air filter by immersing it gently in warm water(about 40 C/104 F) with a mild detergent. Rinse the filter

    and dry it in a shady place.

    -Install the upper air filter after cleaning, then insert the sidefilter into the unit and install the lower filter by using the

    - Use a lint-free cloth soaked with mild detergent to cleanthe unit enclosure. Dry enclosure with a clean cloth.

    a hose to drain outlet

    - Remove the plug from the bottom drain outlet, all waterin the bottom tray will drain out (See Fig.21).

    ina warm room to dry the appliance's inner parts and

    prevent mold.- Stop the appliance and unplug it, wrap the cord and

    attach it with the tape. Remove batteries from the

    remote control.- Clean the air filter and reinstall it.
