Exploring Yoga, Meditation and Tantra in Jainism Two day residential workshop on About workshop: Three Jain authors brought forth new ideas about Jainism, Yoga, and Meditation practice. In this th workshop we will study the Yogabindu of Haribhadra Virahanka (6 century) which explores Yoga, Pūjā, and th compassion; the Yogadṛṣṭisamuccaya of Haribhadra Yakini Putra (8 century) which aligns Jainism with Patañjali’s Yoga while offering a strident critique of Tantra; and learn the uniquely Jain tantric techniques of th mantra and meditation on the five elements in Śubhacandra’s Jñānārṇava (10 century). This workshop will combine lecture, discussion, and meditation practice.
