crops from insects pests by using biological wastes,

biological agents and plants hence the term bioproducts LikePhospho, Rhizo, Azotobactor, Trichoderma, Tricho-Card, Vermi

Compost, Biocompost.

Industry Scenario

1. The total market production of biofertilizers is 24,455 tonnes in

India (2008-09).2. Tamil Nadu produced 3,733 tonnes of bio-fertilizers followed by

Karnataka at 3,696 tonnes.

3. The other major producers of bio-fertilizers are Kerala (1,937

tonnes), Maharashtra (1,861 tonnes) and Madhya Pradesh(1,588 tonnes).

3. CFCL, BASF, Corromandal and Boost Ltd. are the top

brands of agro-Products.

1. Ambika Biotech should include farmers also for market

research.

2. Company should communicate about the benefits of bio

products to farmer as well as dealers before launching its

product through a mixed promotional activities in both the

districts.

3. Company should concentrate specially on Pulses, Rice, Wheat

and Soybean.

4. Among the four segment company should concentrate specially

bio fertilizer and bio lant rowth re ulator.
