• The Trans Canada Trail is a recreational trail that winds its way through every province and territoryin Canada, linking hundreds of communities along its route. Given the geography of Canada, it is nota straight line but one that dips and curves to include as much of the population as possible.
• A water route is being used in the Northwest Territories and part of Northern Alberta, down theAthabasca, Slave and Mackenzie Rivers all the way to the Arctic Ocean.
