First conference proceedings on exploding wire phenomena in April 1959. The only proceedings which is considered as a book on exploding wire and its phenomena. Electrical disintegration of wires is very old and has interested experimenters. It requires only a charged condenser and a means of connecting it to the wire. Temperatures produced approach those produced on the Sun.
