He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kyung-Hee University in 2009, and joined Doosan Heavy Industries. He is currently working on overseas marketing for APR1400 export as a member of KEPCO Team(consortium). Abstract Doosan Heavy Industries, a key supplier of NPP equipment in the international market, is applying its know-how and experience in a "one-stop" service to cover design, raw material, manufacturing, testing, construction and services. This presentation will introduce Doosan’s manufacturing capability of NPP equipment including facilities, experience, and technology. Doosan is one of Korea’s foremost engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors for plant projects inside and outside Korea. Doosan’s business portfolio includes castings and forgings and other components for the power industry; sea water desalination systems, water treatment plants and other water-related facilities as well as material handling equipment. Doosan entered the business of nuclear power generation starting with the construction of its Changwon plant in 1976 and supplied power plant system to Hanbit nuclear power plant units 1 and 2 until 1986. Over the past four decades, Doosan has played a key role in building more than 300 power and water plants around the globe. In Korea alone, Doosan has participated in almost every major power project since the mid-1970s with 115 coal-fired thermal power and 23 nuclear power plants either completed or under construction to date.
