Exodus 40 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

They have been gone from Egypt approximately one yearone year.

They have been at Mount SinaiMount Sinai for over eight months of that time.

Allowing for the time Moses was on the Mounton the Mount and God was dealingGod was dealing with them in other ways,

It took a bit over six monthssix months to build it all.

God told Moses what to do and how to do it.

The people responded with willing hearts.

They did all that God commanded.

Exodus 40 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the Glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

God has returned into their midst as He promised.

Let's live as GodGod teaches us to live, that we will be blessed.

He will nevernever leave us nor forsake us, and in His Presence we willwe will be satisfied.

All our needs He will provide.

While we do His Good Will He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there's no other way,

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
