The modular stands and/or the materials hired by GES may not be damaged, soiled or in any way changed (e.g. by drilling of holes, use of nails or screws, etc.).

7. Cleaning Services A full hall clean and basic stand clean is included in your venue rental contract and is carried out after build up and thereafter on a daily basis throughout your exhibition open period. Please ensure that any cardboard boxes are flat packed, ready for collection during exhibition build. Removal of any abandoned stand fitting materials, carpet or excessive rubbish except rental stand package will be subject to an additional charge. The uses of skips for waste removal can be hired through SECC, please discuss any requirements at the earliest opportunity. Internet There will be free Wifi available for delegates and will be provided on a FOC based. This is a limited bandwidth and we advise this should only be used for surfing the web, checking emails etc. However if an exhibitor is looking to show videos, capture data or anything that requires a high speed internet then we could always advise they order a hardwire internet line. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EXHIBITOR OWN WIFI ACCESS POINTS If you wish to install a Wi-Fi network within your stand, you must purchase a Wi-Fi enabled internet connection from the SECC and then either rent an Access Point from the SECC or install your own Access Point. If you are planning to bring your own Access Point, the equipment must fulfill all the following requirements:
Adjustable Power Transmitter WiFi Access Point must provide adjustable power transmitter. The available power settings must cover at least the range from: 0dBm (1mW) to 14dBm (25mW), and must be set by default to 5dBm. SECC will ensure that all Access Points are transmitting at a power level within the range and that there are no rogue transmitting sources which may cause interferences. The SECC reserves the right to go directly to the exhibitor and ask to power up or down, and/or change their assigned channel at any moment during the show.
Interfaces
The WiFi access point must have at least a 10/100BASE-T autosensing port (RJ-45). Dynamic Frequency Selection If the WiFi access point supports this feature, it must be disabled. The WiFi access point must work over a fixed channel.
- For 2.4 GHz the channel must be 11. - For 5 Ghz the channel must be 40.

SECC will be using a system to monitor all access points. The system has the ability to cancel the signal and disable all Access Points which have not been disclosed to the venue or do not ahere to these technical requirements. This will be a last resort after efforts to contact the stand have been made. 9. Shipping Information Deliveries cannot be accepted before the first day of Tenancy Sunday 3rd April and must be collected by 20.00 h on the last day of Tenancy Thursday 7th April. Any packages left onsite at the end of tenancy and not collected will be disposed of. You must ensure you either have someone on your stand to accept the delivery. Deliveries should be address to Name of Event Hall Number SECC Exhibition Way Glasgow G3 8YW. Forwarding agency Our official forwarder is DB Schenker, please contact Mr Buchenau with all matters related to transport/shipping or storage handling directly: Wolfgang Buchenau Schenker Deutschland AG Office Frankfurt/Main Fair Logistiks International Langer Kornweg 34 E 65451 Kelsterbach Germany DB Schenker is only a recommendation. You are free to contract whatever forward you want to use. We are not responsible for any arrangements you agree on with Schenker. Please make sure to send your material on time. Due to customs it might take a bit longer. Please inform yourself about delivery time, documents you need etc. A short overview with more details is given in the appendix.
Attention! SECC is only accepting delivery on Sunday morning from 08:00 until 18:00 h or on Monday from 08:00-10:00 h. The delivery of frights on a weekend will cause surcharges. It might also be not possible or difficult to track your sending on a Sunday, as the office might not be staffed. 10. Storage for empty containers The SECC has no storage facilities, NO deliveries will be accepted prior to the start of your tenancy. All items are to be collected within your tenancy period. We recommend you contract the service of a freight forwarding contractor for your event and use their storage / delivery / collection facilities. The SECC Campus will not accept any deliveries on your behalf. You must have a representative available at all times to sign for any deliveries. 11. Build up In order for the build up period to run effectively, the following must be in place: 1. You must have a representative on-site to manage the event build-up. 2. No access or deliveries will be accepted prior to the tenancy time as agreed in the timetable. 3. You must have a representative available to check and sign for any deliveries related to your event. 4. You and all your contractors must be clearly badged. 11. Loading and unloading The SECC only allows delivery on Sunday, 03 April 2016 and pick-up on Thursday, 07 April 2016. Any materials remaining in the facility after Thursday 20:00 h will be re-routed or stored at the warehouse to await disposition at exhibitor’s expense. No load in excess of 5 tons per square metre is permitted to be placed on the floor of the Halls. No vehicle with an axle load in excess of 20 tons can be brought into the Halls at the SECC Campus. Floor loadings in excess of the above may be permitted on application and subject to our approval.
Your assessment should be based on risks associated with build up, open and break down periods. Exhibitors need to ensure that their participation at an event is carried out safely. The Construction, Design & Management (CDM) Regulations do not replace any existing law but are intended to provide a framework to help you ensure that your stand is constructed safely and help you understand your obligations. These documents should be viewed as a summary for meeting minimum requirements and should at all times be used in conjunction with Health and Safety at Work Act, HSE’s exhibition specific guidance on CDM2015 and also the HSE’s official L153 guidance on CDM. Please fill in the template and read it carefully, that you find in the appendix SECC and return it to APV before 22 February 2016
Rules and Regulations of SECC
To ensure your Company’s smooth pullout from the Exhibition, we ask that certain information be passed to the staff that will be involved with the removal of your exhibits and stand construction.
1) The exhibition hall will be closed at 20.00 h on 07.04.2016. The exhibition hall must be
cleared of all exhibits and stand construction material by 19.30 h on 07.04.2016.
2) All stand electrical supplies will be switched off 30 mins after the exhibition closes.
3) For reasons of security and to comply with the contract no items may be removed before the exhibition closes. No contractors’ staff will be allowed into the hall until the above time. Exhibitors and Contractors are required to wear their badges and display their passes at all times and should be reminded it is their responsibility to remove all large items of waste- bricks, wood, display boards, landscaping material, etc. Please maintain adequate surveillance of your company’s portable items during the breakdown period. Exhibitors who leave any exhibits or valuables on their stand do so at their own risk.
4) On the morning of breakdown as many small vehicles as possible will be parked in the
parking bays around the hall, please note that this will be done on a first come basis and controlled by our in-house security team. Contractors’ vehicles other than light vans will not be permitted to park in the area around the Exhibition Hall until space becomes available.
5) The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre’s policy (SECC) is that no one under
the age of 16 years of age will be allowed into the “work” area during breakdown.
We also would like to point out the Terms and Conditions that you have received with your application form and with the invoice, and are also accessible on our website: www.reserachpharm.org.
Dangerous Exhibits and Substances You must ensure that exhibitors take care to avoid damage to any part of the SECC Campus. Any necessary repairs will result in additional charges being made. You are, therefore, requested to notify the SECC Campus in writing when a potentially dangerous exhibit or working demonstration involving substances of a dangerous, explosive or objectionable nature (including x-ray machines) is being considered. You should also be aware that the provisions of the COSHH Regulations (1989) must be recognised when substances that may be considered hazardous to health are being used. In such instances please contact your Event Manager.
Exhibitor Registration
1. Exhibitor Badge Information Exhibitor badges will be required of all booth personnel for admittance to the Exhibit Floor prior to, during, and after the open hours of the exhibition. Badges must be picked up on-site at the Registration Desk close to the main entrance, where each exhibitor will receive their individualized passes and/or the badges for the conference. Badges must be worn at all times and will be regarded as security passes. 2. Exhibitor Registration Form Exhibitors are kindly required to fill in form 1 (page 10 ) and return it to APV before 22 February 2016, as we shall prepare the badges in advance.

With the two full conference batches you will receive two tickets for the Event Dinner and the Welcome Reception. Getting to the city centre from Glasgow Airport: These are some of the most common connections. More information can be found at Scotland's public transport information website: Traveline Scotland
There are several ways to get to the city centre.
Airport buses run from the airport to Glasgow city centre up to every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, and take approximately 25 minutes. 500 Glasgow Shuttle, starting from just under £ 8,50 and it is operated by First Bus, incorporates stops in close proximity to several accommodation locations.
Glasgow Taxis on arrival at the airport - bookings can be made by calling +44 (0) 141 429 7070. For around £ 17-19.80 and it lasts about 15-20 minutes.
Glasgow Airport Taxis are located immediately outside the terminal building or can also be booked by calling +44 (0) 141 889 1813. Taxis will take you to the city centre for around £ 22,00 and lasts about 15-20 minutes. Make sure you ask for a receipt.
The airport also has an SPT Travel Desk, located at Domestic Arrivals (Check-in), where staff can provide you with details of buses and taxis.
Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK) is 32 miles (51km) South West of the city. It's a main base for Ryanair and serves European destinations. Getting to the city centre for Glasgow Prestwick Airport Prestwick has its own train station. There are 3 trains per hour on weekdays and the journey to Glasgow Central Station takes around 50 minutes. Alternatively it's an easy journey to drive via the M77 or there is an early morning and late evening express bus service, the X99/X100, which takes an hour. Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is 39 miles (63km) from Glasgow and serves most major international airlines. You can get to Glasgow from the airport by either bus, train or taxi. Scottish Citylink provides direct bus services from Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow's Buchanan Bus Station every 30 minutes. Alternatively you can catch a bus or taxi to Edinburgh Haymarket and then catch a train to Glasgow Queen Street Station. Lothian Buses provides public transportation to Edinburgh Airport with the Airlink100 express bus from Edinburgh city centre as well as local bus services. Glasgow Queen Street Station provides the main rail link between Glasgow and Edinburgh, with 8 direct services per hour on weekdays. Travel to and from SECC: Travel to and from SECC CAMPUS Air Glasgow is easily reached by three international airports, Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh International. Glasgow's International Airport is less than 15 minutes drive by direct motorway link from the city centre. Bus service The 100 Riversider service runs from George Square (North) in the city centre to the SECC Campus, then Riverside Museum and return, every 30 minutes. Cycling Path Network – the SECC Campus supports its staff with a cycle to work initiative. Join our staff in making their way to the SECC Campus using pedal power. The SECC Campus has link roads and paths that are easily navigated by bicycle, as well as cycle paths that run alongside the Clyde. Glasgow is extensively linked with the National Cycle Network, as well as approved on-road cycle routes. Our cycle storage racks hold six bikes each and are located in the following areas around SECC Campus: · Main building: East entrance (near the elevated walkway). · West entrance: South East corner of Car Park 5. · Clyde Auditorium: South East of main entrance.
Road SECC Campus is just off Junction 19 of the M8 motorway. From the M8 take the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814). Exit at 'SECC Campus West' slip to access our car parking facilities. Taxi There is a Glasgow Taxis rank (Hackney) pick-up and drop -off point at the East entrance, adjacent to the Clyde Auditorium. There are taxi ranks throughout the city. Main pick-up points include Buchanan Bus Station, Queen Street and Central Stations and most large hotels. An average journey from the city centre will cost around £5.00. Train Exhibition Centre station is the SECC Campus own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Central station (Platform 17 is on the lower level) will bring you to Exhibition Centre station in a journey time of just three minutes. A lift is available to take you from the train station to street level. A covered walkway then leads from the station exit directly to the East Entrance of the main SECC Campus building. The local area around the SECC Campus is serviced by a footpath and a footbridge network. There are also two foot bridges that cross the Clydeside Expressway, at the front and the rear of the SECC Campus. There are two pedestrian bridges crossing from the Science Centre to the SECC Campus Conference Centre. The new Clyde Arc Bridge (otherwise known as the 'Squinty Bridge') carries both traffic and pedestrians from one side of the river to the other. Parking at the SECC Campus We will receive an allocation of car park passes to allow you to park for the duration of the event. These must be collected on the first day of build and be displayed on vehicles for the duration. These passes are only valid for exhibitor build up, open period and exhibitor break down.

SUMMARY SPECIFICATION OF SUPPLY1. Telephone Services
(a) A supply includes the installation, maintenance and removal of a telephone line which normally terminates in a standard line jack unit, in a position on the stand as indicated on the customer's dimensional drawing.(b) The service is metered and the cost includes the first £10 of call charges. Call charges over £10 will be invoiced separately
2. Internet Access(a) A supply includes the installation, maintenance and removal of items as requested, in a position on the stand as indicated on thecustomer's dimensional drawing, For hard wired internet connections a CAT5 UTP cable will be presented at the customer's stand.(b) Responsibility for configuration of IT services rests with the customer, unless configuration has been ordered separately.(c) SEC reserve the right to disconnect any unauthorised wireless networks
CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT1. In this document "SEC" means Scottish Exhibition Centre Limited.2. If by reason of force majeure, labour difficulties or shortages of materials or any other cause outside the control of the SEC, SEC is unable to provide all or any of the services ordered by the customer during the whole or any part of the duration of the exhibiiton, the customer's rights shall be limited to the return of a corresponding proportion of the charges paid by him for such services.3. SEC will not be liable for damage to property or death or injury caused to any persons by or in any way connected with the services agreed to be provided, except only where such damage or death or injury is occassioned by the negligence of SEC, its employees or agents.4. On no account will SECC be liable for consequential loss suffered by the customer howsoever caused.5. Orders placed less than 7 days before the first day of build up will not be carried out until after completion of orders already received. Late orders will be carried out in the order in which they are received, will only be accepted on this basis.6. SEC reserve the right to refuse to process orders until payment for the supply has been received.7. SEC is sole agent for the installation of telephone/internet lines.8. The customer agrees to a credit check being carried out, the details of which will be kept strictly confidential.CANCELLATIONCancellation of orders will only be accepted when made in writing, where written cancellation is received by SEC later than one week prior to start of build up, the service will be charged at the standard rate.

A. Exhibitiors requiring rigging should submit an order to Technical Services Department of the SECC 14 days prior to commencement of build up. Together with a full description of the item(s) to be rigged.B. Your order should include the following details:-
i. Total weight of the item to be rigged including attachments, light fittings etc. Where light fittings areattached give details of how the weight is distributed
ii. Height required from floor level to bottom of item.iii. Dimensions of item.iv. Details of how rigging wires may be attached to item.v. Drawing of stand showing orientation in the hall and the position of the item with measurements in from
perimeter of standvi. Day and time the item should be rigged. Items to be rigged are required to be on site as early as
possible, and in any case by the first day of build up.C. As per our terms and conditions of contract, payment must be received in advance before any work will be carried out and should be enclosed with your order. SECC reserves the right to refuse to process orders until payment for the service has been received. A VAT receipted invoice will be forwarded to you on receipt of payment. A 25% surcharge may be made for late orders and no guarantee can be given that the work will be carried out.D. SECC cannot guarantee specific times for work to be carried out.E. Rigging work contracted to others must first be approved by SEC Ltd. In this instance public/product liability insurance, rigging plots and test certificates must be submitted to the Technical Services Dept. 14 days prior to commencement of build up. The appointed company must have the necessary credentials and experience to carry out rigging work.F. Costs are as follows. G. In relation to the breakdown of the event, the normal procedure is that most items will be de-rigged on the day after the last open day of the event. If you require your item to be de-rigged on the last open day, you should make specific arrangements with the SECC. Your should make arrangements to receive your item at the time it is de-rigged, failing which it will be left on your stand for collection and it will then be your responsibility to ensure that it is picked up by you or your representative(s). SECC will accept no liability for the item after it is de-rigged

SPECIFICATION OF STANDARD SUPPLY1. The standard supply includes the installation, maintenance and removal of the supply pipe which terminates in a stop cock and one connection on the equipment requiring the service at a position on the stand as indicated on the customer's dimensional drawing.2. The service is not metered and the price includes the cost of water, air or gas used.3. Floor fixings are of the Fischer removal bolt type. This allows for the supply of the bolt, fixing with plant in position, removal and making good of the floor at the end of the exhibiton, The floor fixing is not suitable for up thrust or pull out loads without provision of an approporiate anchor block.4. Television aerials allows for the installation, maintenance and removal of the aerial cable which terminates in a standard plug and single connection on the stand.

Where written cancellation is received by SEC later than one week prior to start of build-up, the service will be charged at the full rate
