EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

General :-

1. 12th Security Skills & Leadership Summit - 2017 was organized by the Central

Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) on 16th & 17th December 17 at Hotel le-

Meridien, New Delhi. The event was co-hosted by Association of Private Detectives &

Investigators – India (APDI).

2. Theme - Amongst various issues concerning the Private Security Sector (PSS), the main agenda of this conference was PSAR Act & GST. The agenda was structured in a such a

way that members got the opportunity to raise their concerns about the pertinent issues related to PSARA, GST, Labour and Skilling of the Security Guards and Supervisors.

3. Attendance - Almost 500 delegates from various sectors of the Private Security Industry

representing Private Security/Investigation Agencies, Training Providers, Assessment

Bodies etc), Govt Departments, Corporate Sector, Subject Matter Experts and other

distinguished personalities from various sectors attended the Summit.
